Bad.. Just bad movie that unfortunately has been the MO of the Alien franchise the last few movies.. Beautifully shoot and amazing scenery which goes to show you how much better it could have been..

A turn for the worse in the Alien movie saga. Not scary, very predictable and boring. Prometheus was way better

How is it possible that the sequel to Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" could wind up being an even more debated, divisive, and controversial entry in the inherently unpredictable "Alien" franchise?

Ridley Scott new Alien film has a lot of pot-holes in its story line. If we try to link all the Alien films together, Prometheus and Convenient doesn't 100% make any sense. Because in AVP there were already eggs on Earth and not little cylinders from the Alien spacecraft, so how could have David created the egg(s) per say? Also, how did the Alien Spacecraft have the "eggs" on its ship (already) which was found on LV426 by the commercial ship Nostromo? How did David do that with an "alien" pilot at the helm of that ship? Explain that Mr. Scott!

If you liked Prometheus, you'll probably like Alien Covenant. It's not a great movie. I bought this on Black Friday at a reduced price. At that level, this is worth buying.

The plot was everywhere it's was cliche 4 times back to back i don't understand why they keep making these movies the original was good but this is a no I wasted my money on this

I was really looking forward to this mavie after Prometheus but it really didn't continue the story as much as I thought they would kinda went in a different direction

Alien and Aliens will always be the best of the series and among the best of sci-fi horror thrillers. Good tie in to the story line but not many surprises.

This was more a story about how the Aliens came to be, rather than a good Alien horror movie. We were bored watching it and barely made it to the end.

I don’t know if I liked it . I felt like it was barely getting good but it ended in the middle of nothing so I guess I better find the next part

Not much actual alien stuff. It has its moments of potential but ruined by focusing on the wrong characters

Oh god this movie was so bad. I regretted buying it ten minutes into watching this slog fest of a movie.

I expected more but then too many aliens spoil the original I suppose. The first film was still the best.

Terrible movie, scattered plot, lots of fan service shoved in and overall forgettable. Apparently every ship comes with its own pixie haired girl that turns into a gun wielding, alien killer. Movie gets extra terrible points for ruining Wagner by having Michael Fassbender puking up alien embryos at the end to the sound of selections from The Ring opera. You'd be better off pouring salt into your eyes than watching this film.

I collect all Alien movies. This one leaves me feeling ripped off. Just played on my desire for more Alien. Not worth the money. Rent it.

I was disappointed. The trailers and ads portrayed a different movie IMHO. Ridley Scott fan, was hoping more of Aliens type of action

Not a very good sequel, and in my opinion should not even be part of the Alien movie franchise.

We watched it because we liked Prometheus. It answered some questions if you could get over the over use of cgi

Fun, in your face action. Popcorn flick that’s fer sure.

It’s more a sequel to Prometheus than part of the Alien series. Was alright but won’t watch again.
