I hadn't watched the film in the theaters, but was intrigued when I saw it released in 4k UHD Blu-ray. In addition, Best Buy had it on sale. Upon purchasing and watching it, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is it a good film, but it's visually stunning in 4k UHD! Well worth the purchase!

I'm hooked with Alien movies! This and Prometheus are prequels to the alien films! The PQ and AQ are superb! I like the storyline as well. This is a must buy for those who are into the alien franchise.

The next edition of the "Alien" series follows essentially the seme plot line as all of the others so anyone who has seen an "Alien" movie knows what to expect. That said, this version was fast moving and stylish.

This movie is fantastic. The best Alien movie in the series in my opinion. The acting and action is amazing as well as the UHD quality. If you own an HDR tv, the Alien movies are a great test of your black levels as well as bright highlights. I'm sure you'll love this flick as much as I do.

Movie is a retro rethought trying to make another Ripley impossible saga is getting old worth a look guaranteed to upset hardcore fans, I would still recommend only for hardcore alien fans, still disappointed ):

The visual effects in 4K were great! The movie went a different direction than I was expecting. It was elaborating more on the Prometheus movie than Alien, but definitely recommend watching if you are a fan!

The movie was good but alright, the color was great , the 4K brought all the dark areas and this movies has lots of dark areas

Enjoyed this movie and how they tied in this and other alien movies. Was a little weird but most alien movies are. Can’t wait for the continuation that they insinuated was coming. Hope it is just as interesting

I saw this movie back in theaters and I loved it. I still I have high hopes for the third installment to the series. But the steelbook is beautiful let alone the quality of the picture of the film itself. For 9.99 I snatch it up I’m a heartbeat!!

A great movie to enjoy in 4K. True to the franchise, the special effects, sound and video production were amazing. The plot could have been a bit better, but it is "Alien". Worth a watch for any sci-fi buff.

Movie takes place after the Prometheus movie. Promethus is probably my favorite of the whole series. This one does explain more of what happened. Kind of a surprise ending. I enjoyed the movie.

Ridley Scott is taking the Alien franchise is a direction I would not have expected. While it's not Alien or Aliens it is interesting what he is trying to do. I am probably one of the few that enjoyed this film.

I truly enjoyed this movie. Lot of hit and miss reviews but I guess I'm one that really liked this one. Ridley Scott does a great job bringing some of the mythos that have developed around the Alien films and HR Gigers art over that last few decades. Bluray has the standard features.

Alien Covenant is pretty much a direct sequel to Prometheus, so if you haven't that yet, watch it first. The sound and video quality on this blu ray is top notch, if you have a nice TV and home theater system.

This is a great sequel to Prometheus and prequel to alien movies.

I got this movie deal for buy 1 get 1 free. Both movies cost me 9.99, & the other movie was Life. Which like I said before I felt was a great deal. I enjoyed the movie, & the surprising plot twist.

Great addition to the franchise. Amazing special effects. Although all devoted fans of the series know that there has to be at least one more to get the location to LV 426, where the first movie with Sigourney Weaver and the crew of Nostromo first encounter the Alien we know and love.

the fassbender stuff is great, but i think the rest of it is kind of meh. derivative, but still better than most alien sequels.

You would think the originator of this series could bring something more profound to the big screen. Early on the ending was quite predictable, due in no small part to the stupidity of the crew of the spaceship Covenant. You don't send 2000+ civilians into space and expect any rational outcome with a crew that consists of married couples who can't understand the importance of wearing protection when investigating a strange planet that pops out of nowhere. The reasons I gave it 3 stars are that the graphics are good and it is a continuation of Prometheus; which had far better actors.

It's easy to fit this sequel to a prequel (Prometheus) into the Alien family - it has creepy moments, scary moments, and some scenes that just leave you scratching your head. Although I think I made sense of everything, it will be great to see how it fits into the next installment.
