This is an excellent value having all four Alien movies in one package. Plus you have the theatrical version and a brand new 2003 extended version of each movie included. The quality of the sound and picture is fabulous and it was great watching these movies again and some (Alien Resurrection) for the first time. I look forward to seeing the new Alien Covenant and this is a great primer for anyone interested in the series.

This 4 movie blu-ray set is a great collection of one of the best movie franchises to have ever been made. With it's great picture quality and superb sound this collection of movies should be added to any fan of the Alien series collection.

After all these years alien is still probably the best horror Syfy movie to my liking. Sigourney Weaver and the cast are excellent creative combination of all time scary things popping out where you don't expect them or were you think they might come out plus the technology of the special effects. The sun is only action there's a great story. Personally I've always liked the first two movies the best.

This series was on one of the movie channels recently and then while shopping for movies at Best Buy, I saw this series which includes all 4 original theatrical versions and all 4 director's cuts. I have seen these movies many times but now I'll be able to compare the director's cuts to the originals. This series isn't for everyone but it is one of my all time favorites.

This set includes the original theatrical version and a director's cut/extended version of each of the first 4 movies in the Alien series. Many critics say that each sequel declined in quality compared to the previous film, but I found myself drawn into and entertained by all 4 Films.

Amazing package if you love these movies, you can pick between the original film and the "director's cut". There's 2 discs per movie and a 9th disc with the extra features, trailers, etc. If you are a hardcore fan it's a must buy (specially because of the price), and if you're looking to get into it for the first time then the only thing I can say is that these movies still hold up.

I am a big fan of the Alien series and have it all on DVD but couldn't pass up getting it on Blu-ray as well. I wanted it for the better graphics and for the price, I couldn't beat it, so I picked it up. If you're into the aliens movies, then grab this.

I watched alien vs predator with my kids and my daughter loved Alien. So I went to Best Buy and saw they had this quadrilogy and I had to buy it. When I got home I couldn't wait for my daughter so I watched the first movie and I was still amazed like when I saw it the first time. When my daughter came over we watched part 2 and now she's hooked. We love this movie.

I recently discovered a "friend" had stolen over 500 movies from my home. Yes, I have a fairly big collection and the 500 titles weren't immediately missed. Among the items were both the DVD and Blu-ray box sets of the Alien movies, so I was glad to get a Blu-ray replacement of the first four films for under $20. And they do look great on Blu-ray!

So, I had these movies on VHS and DVD. I had always wanted them on Blu-Ray with all the special editions and whatnot. Those can be so pricey! Best Buy had this, and when I saw the price, I immediately bought it! All the original four movies, with their theatrical and remastered versions...on Blu-Ray!! For any Alien fan, you won't be disappointed!

Great collection of movies with superb picture and sound. But if you want a box set that includes the latest 2 movies then find the other box set because this one only includes the original Sigourney Weaver run.

The meaning to upgrade my alien collection, the Ridley Scott classic and all the following directors from regular DVD to Blu-ray. The alien quadrilogy Blu-ray set was exactly what I needed and Best Buy had the best price. I think it might be a deleted title now replaced by another set but I believe this is the best way to own the alien quadrilogy.

The best movies of Sci fi and Horror all in one plus the look and special effects pioneered in these by Ridley Scott and Cameron- a must for any sci fi movie collection- I'll enjoy watching the 3rd part since I've only really seen that in theater before and it was hard to see with all the darkness but I heard the Blu Ray is better to view this part

I love the aliens movies. In HD, it is wonderful to watch and it has different versions to watch. Alien 1, 2, 3 were like I remembered. alien resurrection was a twist to the alien saga that I really did not care for. If you like the alien movies, this is a great buy for the price.

This is a great collection for truly Alien fans. Has the 4 movies, and each one comes in two versions, the theatrical version and he director's cut version, what makes this collection a great one, and it alsois cheaper than other Alien collections released before, so this is a great oportunity to get your favorite movies for a great price.

i bought the box set because it was cheaper than buying only Alien on bluray. this was cleaned up nicely. as a bonus, i also get a cleaned up Aliens, which i think is the better of the two movies, as well as 2 aliens related beer coasters, because lets face it: 3 and 4 were utter garbage.

The first two films are outstanding especially when the extended edition is provided as an add-on. The last two films are somewhat okay in regards to story and a plus for the Alien completist. Considering that the blu-ray is less than $17, it is a good buy. Just wish they had the digital download.

I remember seeing the first Alien in the theaters, and it was an awesome sci-fi space thriller. This 4-disc Blu-ray collection contains two-versions of each movie: Director's Cut, Special Edition, UR Special Edition, and UR Special Edition, respectively in order of movie releases. Great deal on sale for $11.
