Good classic sc-fi movie on blu-ray. This blu-ray edition comes with both versions of the film, the original and 1991 special edition. It was only $5 on sale. Buy it.

If you enjoy sci-fi thrillers it doesn't get much better than this.

James Cameron’s “Aliens” is the rare sequel that not only improves upon the original in every way, but could be a standalone film. It’s definitely a sci-fi classic, with lots more action and horror elements from the original. Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, and more are outstanding, but the story and production values are amazing. This edition includes many special features, including artwork and more that helps understand Cameron’s thought process. Well worth it, all things considered!

James Cameron knocked it out of the park with this sequel to the movie Alien. Sigourney Weaver is back as Ripley, woken up after decades in deep space. She tries to warn the corporation that the planet she and her crew is visited is dangerous only to be told that their has been a small colony there for awhile although recently they had lost contact with it. The action picks up as Ripley and a group of military head for the colony to see what's happening... needless to say its not long before people start to die. If you enjoy good sci-fi action then this movie is definitely right up your alley and worth checking out if you haven't already done so.

When the 30th Anniversary of the First Alien movie came out, I patiently waited for this release, since I knew that fox would not let the opportunity pass up. And it paid off!! I did not bought the Blu ray box set,cause of the initial price at the time. And frankly I had the DVD Anthology. But when the first Alien Anniversary came out, I jump at the opportunity. On this one was the same. Actually this Aliens movie is the favorite one in the series of my Daughter. Great collection and with digital copy, that the blu ray Anthology did not had.....great buy!!

This is one of my all time favorite films and I am excited to have it on Blue Ray. If you are looking to purchase this film you have likely seen it already (maybe even several times). I personally cannot get enough of this movie and it is by far the best film in the Alien series. The transition to Blue Ray works nicely and will allow for you to appreciate the film that much more. Don't "think" about buying this movie, just buy it! The price is appropriate for an oldie that is just as good now as it was in 1986. If you haven't seen it yet then you will not want to miss this one.

Game over, man! Over 25 years later, Aliens is still the standard by which action sci-fi movies are measured. Plot: After narrowly surviving against a single creature in Alien, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) accompanies a platoon of space marines back to the planet where it came from. Hijinks ensue. Watching Alien beforehand is helpful but not required. This film belongs in the movie library of any self respecting geek. Aliens is endlessly quotable and will be remembered long after Cameron's later efforts are forgotten.

I'm a great fan of monster movies - truly escapist fare. Aliens is one of the greatest of all times. The monsters are well-conceived, well-executed. Monsters don't get much more gory, gruesome, or skin-crawling than these. I daresay that twenty, thirty or forty years from now people will look back on this movie and marvel at the aliens. Plus the plot is super captivating. Who would have thought that a female would end up as the strongest, the fiercest, the most resourceful, the most determined warrior?

I have been waiting forever for Aliens to come out in 4K, similarly like Alien recently did. Who knows when that’ll happen. I decided to get it in Blu-Ray in the meantime. I recommend the Blu-Ray version of this movie. The quality of the picture and special effects are just excellent. And of course this movie is one of the best movies ever.

I loved the first Alien movie and the sequel is no different. I grew up watching these movies with my dad and have always found them entertaining. Definitely a franchise that raised the bar in its day for sci-fi horror and one of Sigourney Weaver's stand out performances of her career in my opinion. Not too many things creepier than being hunted by the aliens through a dark ship in the middle of deep space! Better than the first for sure!

Wow, action packed. Great cast, Bill Paxton was so good, and so missed! The whole cast was great. Though I didn’t care much for the addition of the little girl. I really don’t think she was necessary.

I think that "Aliens" was one of the greatest sci-fi/action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite sci-fi/action films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "Aliens" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery, horror and suspense including an exciting and original storyline.
