The action-packed sequel to the sci-fi chiller, Alien directed by action blockbuster filmmaker, James Cameron is a must-own for movie consumers in its Blu-Ray version. Unlike Alien's widescreen ratio, Alien plays it at a full 1:85 ratio aspect, giving more scale and immersion that the film exceeds from its predecessor. The UV copy is currently active so the code still works for download.

I think that "Aliens 30th Anniversary" is one of the greatest classic films of all time and it was also one of my favorite classic films of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the action, mystery, suspense and horror that has kept this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that "Aliens" has a really great and amazing cast, plot and storylines as well.

Love this movie! It gives a more action story with this sequel and the director's cut an added bonus. You have both theatrical or director's cut to choose from this bluray. Grab your popcorn and enjoy a film that still holds up to CGI bloated films of today.

I bought this movie knowing how good it is. I watched it and the plot is so well done. I was surprised how good this movie is considering how old it is. This movie is great. I recommend this movie to any sci-fi fan. This version of the bluray has includes the 1986 theatrical version and also the 1991 special edition too. A great deal!

You can't go wrong with this classic sci-fi movie . James Cameron is a genius .This is him at his best ,you can't beat it .You got a great story of Corrupt corporate greed using the military to fight Aliens . A reluctant hero Ripley just trying to get out in one piece in an agreement gone bad . All while she saves a little girls life. It doesn't get better than this

Mid ‘79 saw the launch of a deep space Sci-Fi horror flick - Alien that won an Oscar and set up this awesome sequel. When Space Force was announced as a potential new branch of the military, I am sure they had the Colonial Marines in mind. Worth watching over and over, so stop renting and just buy.

I'm a very big fan of the original film and so i was pretty resistant to direction that James Cameron would take it. He and Ridley are two totally different directors and that's immediately apparent. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. What Cameron does offer is a fast paced thrill ride that's never boring. His films usually feature a few cliche character, and this is no exception, but they fit where they should. The production design is so much larger than the original and the scope is immense. It's an impressive film and an even more impressive sequel. Stick with these and avoid any of the films after Resurrection.

Something that chilled me to the bone, every time I saw that alien thing. So bravo on the scares that thrill us in the way that the film does. Maybe too many moments when I just walked around and got bored. But genuinely thrilling moments along the order of Alien 2 rather than the original...

Don't get me wrong, Alien by Ridley Scott is a game changer. However, James Cameron is known for his innovations in special effects and making ridiculously good sequels (T2 is the prime example). If you are more for action than suspense, you will probably prefer Aliens to Alien. Sigourney Weaver continues to prove she is a force to reckon with.

I am much more partial to Alien than Aliens, but packaging-wise, Aliens reigns supreme. The outer case is sturdy and nowhere near as flimsy as the Alien case. Some great special features and goodies inside. Unless you get a great deal on the Alien Anthology box set, this is a must-buy for fans of the series.

This movie actually looks better than the newer Alien films due to the CGI now being implemented in today's cinema. The action scenes are great in 1080p and this movie is a thrilling leap in technology for 1986. From the same director as T2, be prepared for an action packed movie

Revised for Blu-ray:The Blu-ray edition of "Aliens" features a stunning looking transfer. Yes, it does still have film grain (well, it should-it was shot on film and removing the grain using digital noise reduction would also remove much of the fine detail). Fox has done a masterful job of transferring this for this disc.

What can you say? It's the ultimate classic sequel to one of the greatest sci-fi films of all-time and it is arguably better than Alien. After landing on an infested planet, soldiers do what they can to survive. James Cameron pretty much cemented his immortal status as legendary director.

This bluray has some cool features, and its a great transfer as well, this film is amazing and Sigourney Weaver gave a outstanding performance. 9/10 One of the best sci-fi pictures ever made

Great combination of action adventure and horror genres. The first in the series will spook you and keep you up at night, this one will scare you while keeping your heart rate up, and then keep you up at night. The rest of the series is not worth your time, until you get to Prometheus.

I grew up with the old Alien films and hadn't watched them in years so I picked the first two up to revisit them again. They still hold up surprisingly well. Really enjoy the action of this 2nd film in the series the most of the first three films.

5 stars for the movie itself, but just a re-boxing of the one of the latest issues with a little extra fluff. If you don't own the movie or absolutely have to have every edition...BUY IT! If you have one of the latest releases...check because odds are it's the same thing!

One of my favorite action movies. Also my favorite Sigorney Weaver role. This is just an awesome action movie with plenty of suspense as well. Cast was good and the Aliens were really scary! I do not recommend the directors cut. Too long and not an improvement.

I have the special edition blue ray and it picked up right where that one left off so im assuming its the exactly the same disk. So if you already have it, youre just buyint the carboad art and the booklet of the comic art
