This would be a decent laptop if not for the constant disconnect/reconnect issues with the MediaTeK MT7925 Wifi adapter. Tried all troubleshooting steps, reinstalled drivers, tried most recent driver from Dell's website. Still does not stay connected. As a workaround I'm using an old/cheap Edimax Wifi bgn USB adapter which at least gives me 150Mbps versus constantly disconnecting/reconnecting. Also, Windows 11 is just terrible. I've gone through the welcome screen setup probably 3 times now answering the same questions, no I don't want o365, no I don't want game pass, no I don't want my files in OneDrive and having to deal with Microsoft trying to force me to set Edge as my default browser constantly. This is an absolute anti-consumer product. That and the Dell/Alienware support assist is garbage too. Even after a fresh reboot is spends 15 minutes going trough its stuff to fail and tell me to reboot again and retry again. So much for it fixing my Wifi problems. It gave me a phone number to call and that got me an automated bot that basically told me that no one was available to help me and to call back on a different day. If I wasn't setting this up for my daughter to use when going to college where they have to use Windows I would have re-installed with Fedora Linux and called it a day.

This Laptop is really great for gaming, it gives more then 120htz and display quality is realy good and crystal clear. But if you are an Architecture student like me this might me not that good fit for you. It’s because major softwares like revet, rhino, and AutoCAD will struggle to give 3d processing power. The very good thing about this laptop is, it has very nice build quality and there is extra support near hinges so overtime hinges wont get damaged.

Bought this for my father-in-law to play his flight simulator and he absolutely loves it.

It runs very smooth and is a great laptop. And it is a huge upgrade from my last computer.

Only had it a short time but so far, it’s been great! The initial start up/set up was a bit frustrating, but overall I like it and I’m excited to see how I can get more out of it.
