The Alienware Aurora 16X is a powerful laptop with enough power out of the box to run the most popular games on ultra resolutions. The screen is vibrant and responsive thanks to the 240hz. I downloaded and played Diablo IV and turned the visuals to ultra and the DLSS setting to 4x and when running thru the world the FPS was very high and stayed steady even in large mob battles. Cooling is sufficient to support the high quality settings and I have not experienced any thermal issues. The onboard speakers support Dolby Atmos and sound pretty good for a laptop. WIFI 7 performance is great and I was able to game online without any lag issues. Battery performance is what you would expect from a laptop and is decent but if you are gaming you definitely what to find a plug to keep the session going. The finish of the laptop case is very nice, but it is a finger print magnet. Thanks to Windows there was a slight issue upon initial setup but the Dell support was very quick at being able to resolve the issues during the chat session. If you are looking for a portable gaming laptop with current hardware, I would recommend this.

Here's what you need to know. Thing is fast, reliable, does any type of gaming, coding or video work you need, straight up. Battery could be better but it's a gaming PC, what are ya gonna do beast has power. Does it get hot? Of course, it's got power, put a book under it and you'll be fine. If you're on the fence, just get it, you'll be happy and it'll last you at least 5 years if you take care of it.

Just picked up the Alienware 16X Aurora in Interstellar Indigo and I’m blown away. The Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX paired with the RTX 5060 and 32GB of RAM makes this laptop an absolute powerhouse. I’m getting max settings in every game I play (Cyberpunk, Black Ops 6, Forza, etc.) with smooth 100+ FPS on the gorgeous 2.5K 240Hz display. The screen is bright (500 nits), colors pop, and the high refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth. Build quality is premium — solid aluminum chassis, comfortable keyboard with great RGB customization, and the advanced cooling actually keeps things manageable (fans do get loud under full load, but that’s expected on a machine this powerful). Battery life is decent for a gaming laptop when I’m not pushing it hard. The 1TB SSD loads games and apps instantly, and Alienware Command Center makes tweaking everything super easy. This is easily one of the best gaming laptops I’ve ever used — worth every penny if you want serious performance in a sleek, premium package.

Very powerful laptop that handles pretty much anything I have asked of it. My only issue is the laptop gets pretty hot when I feel I am not even close to pushing its capabilities. As I do have several webpages up at this moment, the warmth I feel through the keyboard seems unnecessarily warm for this type of usage.

Amazing laptop. Runs all of my games, old and new, with no issues, on highest graphic settings. Added a second internal ssd that is larger, which was a simple install. Overall a little spendy, but well worth it. Would 100% recommend for a portable gaming experience.

Runs all my games great with high FPS, really comfortable to play on considering the good size keyboard. Numberpad doesn't take up half the keyboard like some other laptops. Only minus is the fans are quite loud which gets annoying for other people who may be in the room due to how fast the GPU and CPU heat up with certain graphic heavy games. Other than the sound the fans work great and cool the laptop off really quickly. Would recommend on sale!

Exactly what I expected, excellent machine. Fan is louder and battery life is relatively shorty, but that is expected with such a powerful and compact machine.

Very happy with it! Playing games on max setting and finally seeing the games they were truly meant to be seen! Fan isn’t loud but it does it get hot like most gaming laptops. I recommend a cooling pad or table but worth every penny.

This laptop has all the processing speed and storage that anyone would need! I have thousands of photos and videos and this machine separate graphics card makes photo and video management a breeze. I highly recommend this laptop.

Amazing laptop and huge proformance for the price! The ultra 9, super fast, good ram and video card i found great! Just make sure out of the box to update all drivers and such and a great gaming beast! My only issue is no displayport but thats my fault

I got this laptop because I fell in love with the design. The build quality is very good, and the display is bright and colorful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a laptop with these specs, just try to get it on a deal, it is a but overpriced for the sepcs.

I have never owned anything Alienware, but I have always wanted to. Everything runs as advertised, if not better. Copilot is helpful. If I had to say anything critical, it would be that it heats up quickly when running video games, but pressing the key that turns on the performance mode for the fan system, no joke, it cools down within 10 seconds.
