Great quality gaming laptop. Heavy, large screen, runs excellent

I am in love with this laptop. I am able to do my work as a Infrastructure Operations Engineer, my PhD work, and my VR gaming all from one machine. Yes, the weight is a bit on the heavy side, but still carriable as needed. I did upgrade my memory from 32 to 64 gb to make it the way I wanted it and it took a whole 10 minutes to swap.

My old laptop was having a hard time keeping up with video editing. Needed a new computer capable of keeping up with 4K video editing. This computer does a great job keeping up with 4K video at 4 times speed saving me a bunch of time reviewing videos. Computer did not come with a bunch of bloatware. Setup was fast and easy. Good upgrade for me. I have not ran off of the battery, so i did not rate it.

I am very happy with the computer,good size, ove rge display and features. The speed is excellent.

Purchased for my college freshman who is studying architecture. Needed something with great graphics while keeping speed. It meets all the expectations. Only complaint is the battery life. Wish it held battery life but with all programs running through this may be causing battery to drain sooner than normal. Overall great for college students studying architecture.

Great laptop. We are not using it to the full potential but I have not found a flaw that matters to me. The Laptop is heavier than other models and brands but when purchasing this you are not buying for the weight. It is not unmanageable just noticeable compared to other. Kids like the keyboard and lights.

I've been using the Alienware 16X Aurora for a couple of weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed. The screen is gorgeous — super sharp and incredibly smooth, especially with the 240Hz refresh rate. Everything runs lightning fast, from boot-up to gaming to multitasking. The speakers really surprised me too — clear, loud, and great for both games and movies. Overall, it's a powerful machine that looks and feels premium. Totally worth it!

Out of the box, it's an amazing Brand/Model. The dedicated cooling system, may be noisy. But does the work. The RTX 5060 isn't the most powerful. But even for nowadays games and apps requirements, it can keep up! I use it for 3D modeling/rendering, and gaming. Had no issues so far. Note: Only con is that it attracts fingerprints! You can clean, wipe, try your best. Your fingerprints will be there.

AVOID THIS LAPTOP LIKE THE PLAGUE. I will start out by saying when it works, it's nice. I'm not a huge gamer by any means, so when I did game on this, I kept the settings down to keep the CPU/GPU running cool. Yes, the fans can be noisy and it puts out a good bit of heat as others have said, but that wasn't a big deal to me. I kept an external laptop cooler and external fans running on it, again, to keep it cool and try to get a long life out of the computer (I usually like to keep my computers for ~5 years). I bought this one in the middle of July, 2025, to replace my 6 year old HP Envy that was beginning to slow down and show its age. At the beginning of October, 2005, without warning, my Alienware would not turn on so I sent it in to Dell for warranty service, after only having the computer for approximately 2 1/2 months. Today is November 10, 2025, and I still do not have my computer back, due to Dell claiming not to have the parts needed to fix it. They continue to change the estimated date they'll have the computer repaired and returned to me further and further out. As of now, the current estimate is December 3. I realize now I'll be lucky to see this computer again before 2026 at this rate. I imagine by the time I get it back, it will be in the Dell repair center longer than the 2 1/2 months I actually had the computer. Hindsight is 20/20. I just wish I could have my money back at this point and pay up for a similarly equipped HP. The stats on this one are good, and performance is satisfactory, but that all means nothing once it breaks and cannot be repaired and you're left without a computer for months. I'd read about motherboard issues on Dells/Alienwares, but didn't heed the warnings, so this is what I get I suppose.

This laptop offers impressive performance and well-rounded features. It runs fast and remains cool even under load, which is a major plus. The only drawback is the IPS display — in dark environments, some light bleeding is noticeable. While it’s not a dealbreaker, an OLED option at this price point would have been ideal. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone seeking strong performance without thermal issues.

Overall great laptop and goes above and beyond for what I need it for, initial set up was a little confusing because not all the drivers installed correctly the first time so that was a lot but after you figure it out and get it set up it runs like a dream

We bought this for our 13yr old gamer son for Christmas. He plays some large games and this laptop supports them with ease. No lagging. Highly recommend this for any gamers.

Is fast, overheats a little but cools down with no issues. Has to be plugged always.

The Alienware Aurora 16 is great with homework school assignments video game compatibility like Minecraft Roblox steam games And software hardware, electronics compatibility and multi platform compatibility

the price was good for the specs on this laptop, runs very smoothly, little warm when used for a while but not as much as other brands can sit it on a cooling plate for extended game play as an option 240hz screen give a good picture. not really any bad points to talk of.
