If you are wanting a laptop that is heavy then this one is for you. Good otherwise.

It’s a well build overall, but had some problem with Alienware command center.

I just do not like windows 10 But that's me. the battery life is not long if gaming

While, I'm not a gamer, I am using it for graphic design and it's working out extremely well. There have been a few minor things here and there but with an update to the graphics card and the programs, everything seems to be working just fine. So nothing to dock stars for at the moment, and hopefully never!

I'm sure the laptop is great when it works.... Bought one I was pretty happy with it and on the first day I notice a dead pixel. No biggie, I exchange it. Try it again boom again deadpixel. Fine fine third time is a charm, I exchange again. Low and behold can't even plug it cos it won't fit the 6 sockets I tried to plug it in of one I was able to connect the previous two. Now I don't know if this unit is also faulty cos guess what it won't turn on without the initial plug in. I call customer support, I ask them if I can return again. They said you'll probably have to buy a plug.... Oh and by the way I spend 60 dollars going and coming to best buy to make sure no more damage was done to the returning or my current unit.... When I spend 2k on a laptop I want full working unit. If I wanted parts sold separately I'd make my own desktop. Props to the bestbuy guys working at the store for being understanding. But dead pixels is dead pixels. Can't say the same about bestbuys policies. Bestbuy I'm loving. By the way the connection between the cord and adapter is loose.

It does everything I need it to do with TONS of room to spare. Only con I have isn't really a knock on the rig, but it's tough to find a big enough bag to lug it around(which I do daily). It's 1.5" bigger than my last 17.3 Dell because the cooling system is MUCH beefier(and effective).

My son wanted this laptop for the longest time. His parents bought this for him for great grades in college and his Birthday. He’s had it for over a month now and couldn’t be happier. According to him, this was his best gift ever!

I am not really a computer expert, but I was pleased with this purchase, also being my first laptop. It is powerful, looks nice, does what I need it to do which is play games. My minor complaints are it’s pretty heavy, I think its over priced, and the battery life is pretty short.

Awesome computer. Fast and has lights what more could you want?

Since I've had this laptop it has met every expectation day after day. The options are great to include the graphics. I fear I will not fulfill it's full potential. A great product!

Great laptop with great performance. Recommend this computer.

So far I enjoy the laptop. I’ve used it mostly for email. I have downloaded games which run really well but it does seem the system gets pretty loud and warm when trying to launch decent games. It’s not an issue persay but I haven’t played on it enough to now for sure.

Love this laptop, although it's more of a countertop. It's a beast of a laptop, doesn't fit into most backpacks for 17" laptops. Fits on the desk fine thought that I've plugged everything into it. Might get a dock to plug a few more usb items into, it is short on USB ports.

This laptop rules for gaming and mobile workstation class graphics and processing. As much as I am of a MacBook Pro fan and daily user, I find this Alienware laptop incredibly speedy. Drawback is that it is heavy to be really portable, and I use with with Oculus for VR experience

The beast is heavy; no way to get around that. Yet, it is as sturdy in feel as they come. Otherwise, it is a dream machine for the price range. It is fast, has great graphics and the speakers are pretty good as well. Glad I decided on getting this machine (on sale).

Great gaming laptop, can probably run any game out there.

I've been looking around for a great video editing rig that will be able to accommodate my needs and won't fall short. Found it in this laptop! Got it on sale so it's reasonably priced and the specs were amazing (for what I intend to use it for).

Plays the games we are enjoying pretty well. Fairly high settings. It's a bit bright (great night light - maybe too bright for some areas). It can get a little loud, but that's what you get with a decent gaming machine.

This machine stretches the meaning of a "Laptop". It's big, heavy, and impossible to use on your lap. The cooling system is fantastic however and temps were always great and it was quiet under gaming load. In terms of upgradability it's pretty easy.
