Love this laptop. Fast, reliable and great graphics. I bought it to use when going to get a degree in CAD design this computer ran the c software with no problems whatsoever. Even now 4 years later it still has never let me down!! Cons: it weighs a ton!!! And the battery doesn’t last near long enough so I just keep it plugged in most of the time, it also gets pretty warm when on your lap or bed. So be mindful what you are working on

This alienware laptop is amazing! It is perfect for data analysis, the system can let you handle multiple programs, and the display is large and comfortable for many hours of work. Not to mention the amazing gaming capabilities. I love it!

Excellent power, however the ethernet port seems to be a bit faulty... My cable got stuck multiple times and was Unable to remove it without extreme force. Just gonna tape it off and get an external one. For $2000 (nearly) everything should be perfect and flawless, specially hardware wise.

I needed a new laptop because my last one's keyboard stopped working. The best perk about this is the SATA drive, because it boots up super quick. I also like the option to add additional internal HDDs, should I ever need to.

Wow. This beast is better than my desktop! A steal at only $1,150 being open box. It’s exceeded my expectations and has replaced my desktop. I use it with my Oculus Rift flawlessly with the GTX 1070 card built in.

I bought this computer for schooling more so than gaming as i am a computer science major and needed a computer than could handle the intense cpu strain that running multiple VMs would cause and this computer has worked great

As I travel across Azeroth to fight Warbringer Yenajz, I find myself seeing with perfect clarity, fastest speed, and never ever having to wait to enter a dungeon due to a loading screen. Best product ever!

I have owned this computer for a couple of months now , Works very well boot times are super fast. I have owned other Alienware computers this one is a lot lighter then the others I have owned.

I have had the computer for over 2 months now and have not run into any issues. It performs exactly how I wanted it. It is a bit heavy and was difficult to find a bag for would be my only complaint.

Way to heavy, only 1080p. Has to be always plugged in. They keyboard keys are slow and sticky. If you plan on using this as a desktop then buy it.

I bought the laptop to replace my older Mac that wasn’t running as fast as I wanted it to anymore and it has been great! I am able to edit videos and pictures much faster now.

I bought this as a gift. The person who received it loves it. Only positive things to say about it. Primarily used for gaming. No issues with any game they have played thus far!

So I attempted to purchase this laptop as open box with reason of "residue", thinking that the savings would be worth the price reduction being used. However there were no manuals, nothing in the box but the laptop and charger. After about 30 mins of use and installing aps, a couple of keys while pressed would trigger another key ex: press the A key and AW would be shown. Obviously this was a spill and it was not cleaned properly as sensors were hitting multiple keys. So returned it for a new model which just had been put on sale by $190.00 so come the end of the day and 2 trips to the local Best Buy all things are good.

has handled everything i have thrown at it and more its heavy and large but i use it as a portable desktop computer so it does not move much

Love this Laptop. I bought it to replace my full tower setup for a smaller and mobile alternative. Its still very powerful and does all the latest software with no issues.

Performance (speed and load) is below expectation. Runs hot under average load requiring external cooling. Setup was very poor. Non existent documentation (very bad).

Pros: absolutely gorgeous computer. BEST SCREEN EVER on a laptop... no glare at all. Incredibly fast to work with. Excellent keyboard. Illuminated mousepad and illuminated details on the body make it look incredible. Cons: absolute nightmare to travel with. HUGE. Bigger by far than your regular 17" laptop. Incredibly heavy. Doesn't even fit in a 17" laptop sleeve Ended up returning it. Can't travel with it as it fills up a good portion of a carry on. Doesn't fit in my laptop backpack (for 17" laptop) and because of the weight, I wouldn't recommend to carry it all the time.

This is a really nice laptop. Yes, it's heavy. You get NVME, Gsync, a full 1070, and 16 GB or RAM. Is the RAM as fast as some expect? No. Will you notice? No.

Alienware is finally price competitive with competing gaming laptops and I love how easy it is to upgrade. .. used to be an intimidating task with other models.
