You can build your own for far cheaper. However, even if you want a prebuilt no matter what, there are better options at this price. The cooling is mediocre, the components are proprietary and cheap, and the acoustics are not very pleasing. However, the aesthetics and design are nice looking, and of course integrates well with other AW products if you have them. Overall, youre not going to get the performance youre paying for due to these negative factors. The upcoming R15 should have better cooling with a bigger radiator and better motherboard VRMs and voltage regulation. Wait for that.

3. Run a hardware diagnostic test

5. Restore the computer using Windows System Restore
6. Restore the computer to factory default settings

Bought 2 “gaming pcs” which were better spec’d and bothe failed within a year. Thank goodness for Total Tech because i was able to replace with these. Fantastic.

Had to run software to completely redownload the OS and get it up and running. Updated the drivers and it crashed again and wouldn’t let me recover it. Sent it back to Best Buy and got a new one and it has the exact same issue. I’m getting a full refund, this is crap. $2000 forr nothing but bad experiences. Never buying Alienware again.

After tracking it at several stores, we finally found it cheapest at Bestbuy. He has been in his room since he got it and finally able to play the games he hasn't been able to on his slower and older computer!
