Great machine! Smooth, quiet, and really plays the games like a champ!!

This has got to be one of the best desktop I have ever owned.

This PC is amazing, I bought it when it was on sale.

While this machine did run great when it was running,I had issues with random restarts while gaming,I tried 2 machines over a one month period and finally gave in. I went with the Acer Predator and it preforms like I expected my Alienware to.

I have spent many years and hours building my own computers. It was time to upgrade mine this time around and didn't have the time with a child on the way. I was very hesitant on buying an Alienware computer because Dell bought the name a few years back and destroyed the brand. This was the only real viable option for the gaming and streaming I do. Be sure you look at computers online and see if they have others in stock. I almost ended up with the model below this one because they didn't know they had 2 of these in the back. The computer comes packaged very nice and is ready to go right out of the box. The operating system is already installed on the ssd and fires right up. Setup maybe took 10 mins. Immediately updated all drivers and this thing runs like a champ! It's extremely quiet and has blue lights illuminate on the side panels. If you are looking to change things on this computer such as ram or graphics card, beware that you might need to buy a new case and power supply(because they tend to cut cables shorter in pre-fab builds) due to the headache of how to get this case apart and back together. Overall, I am very satisfied with this computer and I went into this purchase worried I was making a huge regret. Pros -Fast -1080 in it -Quiet -Small Cons -Cost, but it is really a fair price for the hardware -Dell makes it now :( -I had to find this computer, not the sales personnel

I purchased this Gaming System and had it only one Month before the Ram card went out on it and I had to return it.

We had nothing but problems with this PC. Awful! Blue screen after blue screen. Constantly crashes.

I typically won't write reviews, however this purchase and the service I received was very excellent I thought it best I share that honesty. In the past I typically built all my desktops and gaming rigs. For the past 8 years I have been MAC only. I recently tried Daydream VR, I was impressed where the tech is today. I had been following Oculus VR on market news pod casts and figured it's time. So I researched desktops and figured a prebuilt might be fine today, prices to build vs already built are more narrow, plus the warranty is nice. I read several professional reviews on the new Aurora R5. I decided to get this one, and if needed upgrade as I see fit. I went into the store and a rep came up to me, very young and he was temporary holiday help he told me, and on top of this very knowledgeable about the products. He grabbed the computer, carried it, then took me around the store to get me everything else I said I needed. He was spot on with everything I mentioned. I gave him brief explanations as to what I wanted, in a keyboard, mouse, connections etc. Everything he picked out was exactly what I wanted. We talked about the VR a little and he showed me a way to get the Oculus and computer $400 cheaper. I was so impressed. I bought that as well (that is why I wanted the computer). I had no intention on getting the VR that day as I thought I would wait, but $400 savings I couldn't pass that up. He went above and beyond for me, and made the purchase a fun experience. I set up the computer and I did several bench mark tests from code I received from some developer friends. This machine fared much better than I expected and I decided no upgrades needed right now. I was far more impressed with the VR than I thought I would be, I can't stop using it. This computer is a very good value. I say that as it's not cheap, but this case is awesome, and not over the top, but different with restraint. No windows peeking inside to the a club like disco going on. Just a well ventilated compact and "tooless" design that will make upgrades when needed a breeze. Ive built may systems, and this one makes such great use of the typical empty space in front of the main board its crazy its still so well ventilated and quiet.I know several folks that hate on Alienware now that it is Dell, but they are doing things right. I am very happy with this purchase and so impressed with Best Buy over this past year. They have really stepped up to the point I am buying a lot from them now. I never use to, customer service was never as good as it has been lately and I've seen this at several stores consistently now. And their prices are in line with today's other internet options. I don't work for or have ever worked for Best Buy, I just honestly think they are doing things right. Buy this computer with no hesitation.

I absolutely love this computer! it took be awhile to look into a good gaming pc and decided to either go with alienware or build my own, after close to a year the price was too good to pass up and for the specs was cheaper to get it than build my own! Everything looks beautiful and runs amazing especially with my Dell 27inch 144hz gsync 1ms response monitor i got with it!! A++++++++!!!! couldnt be happier! time to broadcast on twitch!!!

Very Fast! Very Quiet! No more bargain PCs for me.

GREAT SPEC & STABILITY, COMING IN SLEEK DESIGN - NICE BLACK BOX PACAKING GOOD GRAPHIC, NO COMPLAIN AT ALL

460watt PSU not enough for 1080GTX AND I7 6700 3.4ghz CPU. This is the 2nd Alienware with PSU PROBLEMS the fan revs 100 percent under Zero load and system will hang(freeze) when calling tech support "you can upgrade for 365$ to a 850 watt to fix the problem" Highly dissatisfied! Also about 10 hr into driving and 16 hr of time wasted Setting up and trubble shooting. Returning as soon as possible!

Bought this as an "open box" item because of the hefty discount and unbelievable specs. Neither of these are great if it will not run longer than 20 mins before crashing/randomly shutting down. Called the store and they have the R6 in stock, so this will be returned for a brand new R6 and we'll have to see how that goes...
