    A beast of a PC

If you are looking for a gaming PC where you don't have to do anything but plug it in and play, this is the unit for you. Absolutely incredible speeds and FPS in newer games like Battlefront 2, COD WW2, Battlefield, etc. I absolutely love that about it. It does get a bit noisy at times (the fan) when playing on max graphics in games like the ones listed above, that can be a bit annoying. But, I imagine that is to be expected with a gaming PC like this one. Now, if only EA would make Madden for PC again... would be INCREDIBLE on this machine.

This computer is the best computer for its price!!! It’s so quiet! I can barely hear it when I’m running a lot of programs. Also its super fast! I get like 1700 fps in Minecraft. Finally, this computer has so many perks! I can change the color of it and it has so many ports! This is the best computer in the world for its price!!!

    Powerful and Quiet

I had to exchange a faulty CyberpowerPC and got the Alienware Aurora R7 instead. So far, I'm impressed with everything from the packaging of the Aurora R7 to how well it performs. The difference between the two computers is amazing. The CyberpowerPC was incredibly noisy and no matter what I did, I could not clear the Error 43 on the GTX 1060 that was in it. The Alienware Aurora R7, on the other hand, started right up with no issues, and it's extremely quiet. Much quieter than the Alienware laptop I had previously been using, and definitely quieter than the CyberpowerPC. I'm currently playing Elite Dangerous: Horizons on it with Ultra settings. So far, so good! o7

    Best PreBuild PC

BACKSTORY For Many years I have been a console player. never wanted to go to PC because it was too expensive. but recently my PS4 Died. and I thought why get another one, maybe this time i can get a PC this time. so for weeks i was searching like crazy. is this the right one or not. at first it was intimidating, but after doing some research and keeping up to date they say is better to build your own PC rather than buying a pre build. but due to crypto mining that changed. it is now economically better to buy a pre build than buying a Gaming PC in the high end part. i was going to buy a HP Omen but i missed the sale period for $1150. and i was bumed out. i guess i have to go buy either more epensive one or deal with a sub par one. but the i saw best buy sale for this week. and i was like hey the alienware is the same price this week, and it had better Components than the HP(not by that much) i am glad i missed that sale! REVIEW If you read all of this thanks! but here a summary of the PC itself. it is not as aesthetic as other PC with their glass side panel and rgb lights. but in the end of the day you will be seeing whats on the screen. it does have some rgb lighting on each side of the PC and the power button. which can be changed in in the pc settings. i read somewhere that these PC can be noisy. had it for almost a week. no noise whatsever. it has way more usb that i need but, thats not a problem. it has a usb c port in the front which is cool. if you dont have a mouse or keyboard they do provide both in the box. not the best but its not horrible either. Overall i feel like this a must buy for people trying to get in gaming pc. it is a little pricey if you compare it to the consoles. but if you want to get a gaming pc and play games at a higher end specs i feel like this is not a bad one to start with.

    Great Computer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This was my first pre built. The market is out of control due to Cryptocurrency miners and the cost of this Alienware was fair. I have been enjoying this computer immensely. The options for upgrading are great too. The liquid cooler on the I7 8700 might be overkill since it’s not a K chip but it helps keep the case heat to a minimum.

Excellent Rig... expansion is a problem.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Out of the box, this is an excellent PC. This PC will tear through anything you can throw at it with ease. However, the biggest problem is the size of the case, and the ability to expand upon the build. The Intel Optane isn't worth the loss of the m.2 slot vs the amount of storage this PC comes with. Further, this PC only has the ability to add two 2.5 hdd or SSD. There are no spaces for 3.5" HDD. The 2.5" slots are tool less. But, 2.5" drives are more expensive for 7200rpm than are 3.5" 7200 rpm. The liquid cooling is excellent. And the case cooling is fantastic for the GPU. Don't have the exact specs as of yet, but I've to top 65º in anything as far as I know. GPU-Z will soon confirm the built in software. As far as room in the case goes, there is NOT a lot of room to expand or build upon. If you want to make significant upgrades, you'll need to buy a new case. Further, the PSU isn't modular. And is under 500w. Overall, great mid-high end PC. Low marks for future upgrading as case does not allow. I'll update later on with pictures to give a true sense of how tight the case is. It's super tight. I'll definitely recommend this rig. I'd also recommend swapping everything to a bigger case if you choose to upgrade your rig.

Picked this computer up earlier today and have had several hours in. It is VERY quiet and easy to set up. The FPS has been fantastic on several games I have tried. I normally build my desktops but life did not allow me the time this time around. Opened up the case and it looks very roomy for upgrades. Very good sale and I highly recommend.

    RAM

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've spent a lot of time looking for the proper RAM to use. I've seen forums say you can only use the RAM chip already in the machine. I've also see videos of other brands(Not the one Dell uses). I want to max out at 64GB. If anyone can lead me in the right direction that'd be great. My twitter is @H3adless_ to DM me. Overall I love the machine I have no issues running any game over 100 frames. It's very quite. However sometimes my F6 driver fails to install/update. I'm unsure why. But After I reset and update it's installed. But won't work from the support app on the PC. But this review is mainly about the upgraded RAM chips. I'd appreciate any information. Much love another game twitch.tv/H3adless_

    Fast and very powerful computer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The only reason I went with a pre-built system was because of the current GPU and Ram prices. Unfortunately the Best Buy employee I was dealing with didn't let me know about that sale and charged me full price for the computer. Other than that the computer is really fast for the specs. Pro - Very fast CPU with extreme load. Never above 60% while playing PUBG and streaming. - GPU is also pretty fast runs PUBG on Ultra around 80-90 FPS. Should of went for the 1080 though. Con - Ram could of been faster but it works without issues - really needs an SSD but the Intel Optane Memory decreases boot time a lot.

I happened to be at best buy, it caught my eye. I went back 4 hours later and picked it up. Great deal, all my games play at ultra at crazy frame rates. Would recommend if you can drop 1149 dollars haha. I am so happy with my purchase it's practically a steal. The components itself are worth the price that it is selling right now. Plenty of room for upgrades as well. So glad I got this PC. I recommend that you get a good gaming monitor for it as well, my 1080p 60hz monitor doesn't do it glory.
