Dell no longer supports the R7.

I owned this particular model for the last four years. I upgraded it from at 1070 gtx to a 2080 super rtx and added a couple of ssd drives to it. The Dell decided they aren't supporting any previous model Aurora systems up to the R7. They still support the R8 and up to this day. So if you're going to buy something like this and then upgrade, be aware of Dell's policies.

Crashed Twice! TOTAL PIECE OF JUNK

Total waste of money! Crashed twice in 4 months, sent it in for repair after nearly 6 hours of over the phone technical support who had no clue how to fix it. Promised 3-5 day turnaround time . Sent it in, 3 weeks later I received it back. Plugged it in. BRAND NEW HARD DRIVE AND STILL DOESN'T WORK. DELL REFUSES TO REPLACE IT AND I HAVE TO HAVE A REPAIR PERSON COME OUT TO FIX IT. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE!!!! Filed a Better Business Complaint, I'm so upset.

Slow, Beaten by my alpha with I3 4gb ram

Just purchase May 14, 2018 upgraded to 512 ssd. cloned and booted in ssd never comes close to my 4 year old alpha with intel i3 with 4gb of ram. A 4 yr old beat a $1500 with i7, 16gb of ram and intel optain memory. This is just a piece of crap. As i figured how to boot in my ssd that installed, Dell wants me to pay $129 for the service just to change the boot set up. Dell is just a joke. An overprice desktop with garbage components.

    Garbage

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Total garbage. This machine bricked after a few months of use, the baked in BIOS on the motherboard was the cause of the first bricking. The machine just recently bricked its pants again, some 5 months later and I honestly can't say what the cause is, but am currently working on it. I've never had this much trouble with a PC and I'll never buy an Alienware again. Don't bother, just build your own.

    Avoid

I got a blue screen on the first one about 15 seconds after starting the computer. I unsuccessfully tried multiple times to restart it. I returned it for another one and received a message that the CPU pump failed. I returned the second one and got the HP Omen. So far all is well...
