I'm not sure if this happened because i got an open box but there was a lot of screen bleeding. Unacceptable for this price range. It looked cool though

This monitor exceeded my expectations with its vibrant display and sharp resolution. The colors are vivid, making it perfect for both gaming and watching movies. The images on this monitor are stunning. It is a full HD 1920x1080 display, that has fantastic viewing angles; from almost any angle I could not see any color blurring or shifting. In the dark I could not see any light leakage, and the brightness (and it is bright) was very consistent. But this monitor is designed for gaming, with a 1ms response time at 240hz it is 4-8 times faster than your typical display. And it has several built in display modes based on the types of game you are playing (FPS, RPG and RTS) and multiple game settings to store you personal calibration levels (very helpful as some games are very dark and others are normally bright, saving your play modes is quite useful and save a lot of time when moving from game to game.. The monitor has a anti glare (matte) finish, this is one of the first anti glare monitors I've used that has the crispness as a glossy monitor. when using with fast frame rate game like Doom, the images were crisp, and smooth; I tested this monitor with a Dell laptop and with a nvidia 960 display adapter; the GSync mode of this monitor is designed work best with nvidia video adapters like the 960. With Doom I was seeing over 100 FPS with few artifacts. I also tested with Flight Simulator X and was impressed the quality. Now my gaming laptop (Dell INSPIRON 15 7000) is about year old (i7) and the newer 1060 is faster, but the quality of this display compared to my (4k laptop screen) was astonishing, much brighter and MUCH faster, it was a noticeable improvement, especially in the brightness and improved viewing angles. The monitor and it's stand are quite heavy (well built), the stand allows the monitor to be used in either portrait or landscape mode easily turning it without fear of it falling down. It comes with a Displayport, and USB 3.0 cable, the USB cable brings 3 additional ports (w/power charging) to the monitor (a real convenience on the desktop). The monitor can also be connected via HDMI (1.4) , (for DVD/BR input) I the displayport input must be used with G-Sync. I really can't see anyone out growing this monitor, it's as fast as you can get with a gorgeous image used with a nvidia g-sync video card, really a great pair, if you can afford the price

Alienware - AW2518H 25" LED FHD GSync Monitor - Black This monitor is spectacular to look at. The back lit LEDs are cool and add that “environment” kind of lighting to the gaming experience. The stand is very solid and allows for portrait mode (although this seems like an odd feature for a gaming monitor). The downside of this is that the monitor takes up a good amount of space on your desktop. The screen is sharp and clear and makes games looks amazing. One drawback, I found was the solo HDMI input. This makes using the monitor with a VR system very difficult. This monitor is expensive, but is well made, fully featured, and really makes a statement!

I’ve been using this monitor for just about week now, so far I’m impressed. This is a big, bright, and sharp monitor. I’m using this with a gaming computer and the experience is fantastic. A quick refresh rate means no a super smooth gaming experience. I’ve also used this for basic computing, watching movies, and editing photographs. It is far and away the best monitor I’ve ever used. Movies are just unbelievable, viewing photos are just incredible, the pictures just pop. Overall I would highly recommend this monitor.

I am a competitive gamer, mostly FPS games (CS:GO, Overwatch, BF4, BF1) and I was in the market for a new 240Hz monitor. I knew that Dell has made fantastic monitors in the past, and now with their new Alienware25, I believe they've created a product greater than their competitors. The monitor, with it's thin bezels, comes with gorgeous colors straight out of the box, much better than my old BenQ XL2420G. G-SYNC is amazing, and when configured correctly (http://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag/) offers the most fluid gameplay I have ever seen. The jump from 144Hz to 240Hz is very noticeable, and competitive gamers looking to raise their skill ceiling and have already fast reflexes will be much appreciative of the monitor's performance. Did I mention the monitor is solidly constructed, with a tasteful, futuristic design as well? I got this when it was on sale, $200 off the original MSRP. Don't hesitate to buy this, you won't regret it!

was a really good monitor but i got mine excellent open box and it had a dead pixel. not sure if that was from previous user or a fault in manufacturing. everything else worked as expected and would be a good gaming monitor

Great monitor for everything before the series X and the PlayStation 5. The 240hz works great on 1080p

This monitor is awesome. The refresh rate is very high lights, everything. The only problem is the price. A fair price would be under $400. For a old TN 1080p screen it's expensive. I don't get the huge price difference compared to the same monitor freesync version. If the price was fair I would give 5 stars,

This monitor is used in conjunction with GTX 1060 3g and i5 7400 and my son gets a nice solid 144fps, also triple A games have a solid performance, can only imagine upgrading video card/processor to unlock its true 240hz potential. We have owned this monitor for about 4 months and it has worked as advertised and it looks fantastic. Thank you Best Buy.

This is the coolest monitor I have ever seen. It is just looks very cool and also it is functional. It can be tilt and slid in any direction and the screen itself, with 240 fps, is amazing.

This monitor has been great for my fps games. Worth the money!

This monitor is not good. It is extremely blurry and that makes it not fun to game. I would not recommend this.
