This may be the best gaming monitor out - 240hz at 1080p will let even the mid tier cards loose. Only con is the monitor stand; it is way to big and irregular.

I bought this Alienware 240hz monitor during the pandemic. This is the first experience of 240hz. Its very smooth, the overall monitor quality is very solid. The only complaint is that you unable to use 1ms response time, but with 240hz + G-sync you should be just fine.

I picked up 2 of these for around $200 off each during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals. Very happy with them both. Easy to set up, The cable routing feature in the stands are nice, but don't hide the cables very well when the monitors are set to their max height. Very sturdy.

This is simply one of the best monitors on the market. Absolutely do not be turned off at the TN panel as the viewing angles are super solid to me. If you’re more focused on 200-240 FPS gaming versus 4K gaming then this is definitely the monitor to go with.

Tested it with my laptop as I do not have a desk top yet. Once I go the proper cables I could test if the 240hz was working as intended and it was. The monitor is absolutely gorgeous and the thing bezels on the top and sides of the monitor are so small they are almost non existant.

So this was the first time I bought a monitor because I have always used a mac book pro for life. I bought this monitor to supplement my alienware r7. With the two paired up, the gaming experience is unstoppable. Amazing setup. I love this monitor and gsync is legendary.

This monitor works great! If you don't mind it being a TN monitor, the frame rate on games looking smooth only issue I have with it is the awkward stand that comes with it, but it's a minor issue not even worth mentioning

I never thought a gaming monitor would make a different but holy crap! It looks amazing for modern warfare and even wow classic! The colors are bright and vivid! Best purchase ever.

Before everything hit with this virus I knew I had to get my office set up and the screen is what did it to allow me to work on multiple screens I may have to go back and buy 2 more it slides up-and-down and twist Love it

IT IS ALIENWARE!!!! This monitor is 240hz and 25". It is veryyyy good for esport games. I really like it. The appearance looks beautifual. if you play a lot of games, it is the first choice for you.

Best price we could find on the monitor my son wanted for gaming. Looks great to me, and he loves it, so I'm guessing it's pretty good. Probably more than you need to spend if you aren't gaming.

This monitor to has it all. Makes it easy to hook up all accessories. Great quality you expect. Easy to scroll menu, Buttons are on the bottom but indicator for them will show up on the screen when making selection.

This was the perfect upgrade from my older BENQ model. There are a ton of settings to help get the screen looking and working what’s best for you. No real complaints about this Alienware model. Awesome product!

DISCLAIMER: This review is very similar to my own review on the AW2518HF. There are only a few differences, one of which is major, and these are covered here. Also, this monitor works best with an NVIDIA graphics card. This will allow you to get the most out of it, including the G-SYNC feature. It doesn't get much better than this gaming monitor by Dell. Built into this 25-inch 1080p monitor is plenty of versatility and vividity. The monitor comes in a large box, most of which contains a structured firm cushioning foam that protects the monitor on all sides. I was rather impressed when I saw this, as I've never seen a sensitive product with such magnificent packaging--not even my much more expensive TV. The AW2518 is beautiful. It's super stylish, and the slim bezels allow the monitor to showcase almost nothing but gorgeous gameplay. There are also AlienFX RGB lights on the back of the monitor, and they can be customized through the monitor settings. That said, if the monitor is going to sit against a wall, the lights are largely unnecessary and it can become a distraction, so it's better then to have them off. It's packaged with an DisplayPort cable, and includes one DisplayPort and one HDMI port. Because the ports are on the underside of the monitor, it's better if you aren't frequently connecting different devices, as it can be a tedious and frustrating task. Along with the HDMI ports, you get one USB upstream and three USB downstream ports, two of which are 3.0, and another that features power charging, perfect for your phone. When connected to your PC, the upstream port powers the other ports, which can all be utilized by any other devices you might have, such as a keyboard and mouse This gives you everything you need right in front of you without any more background wiring mess between the monitor and the PC. Be sure to save the ports for anything but a headset (unless it's USB-only), because the monitor is equipped with its own 3.5mm headphone jack. This also frees up the mess of connections to the PC itself. And if you use speakers, there's a line-out port for you, too. Next up, the adjustability. I was impressed with this monitor's range of movements. It can pivot up to 90 degrees, and tilt and swivel up to 20 degrees left or right, 25 degrees up, and 5 degrees down. The height is also adjustable by nearly six inches, so you don't have to do so much tilting. Whatever your viewing angle and preference, this monitor will achieve it. Now onto refresh rate and response time. The AW2518 packs an incredible 240Hz refresh rate. Add in Ultra Low Motion Blur, and your game or desktop is looking even nicer. It's a bit overkill, and isn't necessary for your average gamer, but if you can utilize it, then do it. However, it could also mean that this monitor could last you for a long time as newer games demand more and more power. While on the subject of refresh rate, this monitor is equipped with G-SYNC. If you've never been able to experience adaptive refresh rate technology before, this is a great monitor to do that. You don't get any screen-tearing with this feature, and this may possibly be the best thing about this already powerful monitor—it just makes it more powerful. With the high refresh rate mentioned earlier comes a really fast response time of 1 ms, which is especially significant in twitch shooters. Again: perhaps it's not important for your average gamer, but it should be common knowledge that Alienware products aren't tailored to them. The 3D feature is something I was unable to try at the time of this writing. I'm sure it's as standard as any other 3D display, but don't quote me on that. One major downside to this monitor is its high asking price. These are features that are going to be around for a while, making the monitor last a long time, and so it may be worthwhile to some. The 1080p resolution is solid, and for a 25-inch display, it's hard to argue any reason for there to be 4K. As other components of PC gaming become stronger and better, the 240Hz refresh rate will last. The response time is as good as it gets. Its DisplayPort gives you access to daisy-chaining if you use multiple displays or later upgrade to more than one monitor. In short, the technology packed into this monitor is far from obsolete, and if you're serious about gaming, this is one of the best monitors you can get currently get your hands on.
