Excellent display quality, compare them to the Odyssey G5 IPS 180Hz and the MSI IPS 180Hz and this monitor won in color quality.

Colors too warm in hdr.

Correcting the color would either lead to a yellow white or a very cold blue white and no in between. Other than in hdr, it functioned well and set up was easy. Beautifully designed with a nice blue stand that looks professional. Price is very appealing if you are less sensitive to colors or don’t need accurate colors.

Good monitor but annoying software

It’s not recognized as G-Sync compatible inside nVidia control panel but it allows you to apply the setting to it. The alienware software is rubbish and buggy, and windows will be nagging at you to install it. The only thing that tips the scale in favor to it compared to some slightly more affordable models is the image quality. It has good contrast, and blacks are pretty good with no whiter areas close to the edges that is normally common on these panels. It would be a sure buy for $200 or less, and the higher you go from there the more questionable the value you’re getting.
