Excellent multi-use monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was easy to set up and works well on my desk. Although it is pitched primarily as a gaming monitor, I get nice results for Zoom meetings. It would be nice if it was less expensive.

This is beautiful!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy assembly, easy setup, and looks incredible. No speakers are usually a breaker for me, but pairing this with a 2.1 soundbar takes next level even further! Just make sure HDMI/USB cables are flexible, they will need to bend slightly to fit the space given. Still an easy 5 star!

Curve is not that bad for work. Great for gaming.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this monitor. The curve is not that bad, and it's surprisingly okay for creative work (the curve isn't going to get in the way of doing 3D work which I do). Getting a flatscreen monitor is still going to be better I think for 3D work, but only marginally. I think this monitor really shines with gaming. The curve isn't life changing for gaming, but I do find myself feeling 5% more engrossed versus playing with a flat screen of equal size. Legs are huge. Definitely consider getting an arm. It really helps. Get an arm that can hold a lot of weight - I got a stand that holds up to 42" screens. It'll feel more sturdy if you do.

Outstanding Picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected a great product as I've owned many from this brand. I wasn't disappointed. The price is a bit high, but then it is Alienware so that's to be expected. The panel quality is phenomenal in terms of color accuracy/vibrance, refresh, and brightness. Do be aware that it is recommended to use the "Pixel Refresh" feature about every 4 hours of screen usage to help prevent burn-in. It takes about 5 or 6 minutes and the screen cannot be used. Every several hundred hours a "Panel Refresh" is needed, which takes closer to an hour during which the monitor, again, cannot be used. This may be a nuisance to some and I didn't know before I bought it. I'd buy it again, though. The pixel refresh automatically begins when needed once the panel is put in standby mode. Alternatively, you can start it from the OSD menu.

Alienware monitor!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got this monitor a few days ago! It was pricy but it is beautiful and works amazingly! It’s kind of a hefty box but easy set up. You definitely need a mount for this monitor because the base is quite large

Must have with a 4090/5090
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor if you must have 4K, which your really should if you have a top of the line graphics card like a 4090 or a 5090. If you have something mid-tier, I would probably stick with 1440p. One feature I like about this monitor is it has automatic source switching. If you use multiple sources on the same monitor it can switch when you turn the source on. This feature can also be disabled.

Disappointed with Dolby Vision
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the monitor two days ago. Have ordered some Dolby Vision movies but, have not arrived. So, I was just watching some You Tube 4k Dolby. In short, I don't think the monitor does HDR right. The point of HDR is that lighting should be set properly so all objects, dark or light, have detail in them. With this monitor, bright object look blown out. Not always but, bright objects in full sun scenes seem to be washed out. And, there's nothing you can do about it. There are all of three Dolby settings, game, dark and light. And, I have it set for dark. Dell either needs to add a gamma setting or a brightness setting. Although I'm irked right now and would like to bring it back, I need to see what 4k disks look like. Clearly the problem could exist in the source material. Otherwise, this is a decent monitor. I'm coming from an NEC lookup table / calibration style monitor so I'm used to spot on colors. Can't say this always looks spot on. Problem is, Dell isn't really addressing this in their manual. You can create a windows ICC profile. The question then becomes will that be used across all modes or will Dolby throw it out?

Best Gaming monitor right now!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell AW3225QF is outstanding for PC gaming. It has a near-instantaneous response time that results in crisp motion, and it has low input lag for a responsive feel. Its near-infinite contrast ratio and perfect black uniformity are also ideal for dark room gaming as blacks look deep and inky, and it also gets bright enough to make highlights pop, and colors look vivid.

OLED is life changing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't be happier with image quality. It's a whole new experience moving to OLED from IPS. Only small complaint is the 5 seconds or so of flashing on and off when you close an application that uses HDR, even though Windows is set to HDR. But it's a minor annoyance and seems to just be how HDR is.
