Excellent OLED monitor with some of the best HDR i've seen. After 4 months of use i have no complains. Keep in mind the monitor will remind you every 4 hours to do a pixel refresh to keep the pane image at its best.

I purchased this for $800 and this is an easy recommended at that price. The deep blacks and HDR performance of this monitor are genuinely impressive, bringing a level of immersion and visual depth to games and movies that I hadn't experienced before. The HDR brings out subtle details in dark and bright areas alike, enhancing the realism and drawing me deeper into each experience.
Moreover, the high refresh rate of the aw3423dwf has completely transformed my gaming sessions. The smoothness and responsiveness are unparalleled, making every movement and action feel more immediate and precise. This, coupled with the monitor's upgradable firmware, ensures that my investment is future-proofed, offering peace of mind that I'll continue to enjoy the best experience as new features and improvements are rolled out. It's clear that this monitor was designed with the discerning user in mind, blending cutting-edge technology with user-friendly features to elevate every aspect of digital entertainment and productivity. This was a great upgrade from my old ASUS PG34UQ

Hands down the best picture & design on a monitor, definitely helps you get immersed, 165 hz at a 2k resolution is honestly amazing, insane color off this panel as well, just know since it is an oled you will have to refresh pixels every 4 hours to avoid burn in or damage to panel so keep that in mind

This is my first OLED & Ultrawide monitor. The colors on this screen are so rich, it's like moving paint. The extra space is actually useful, immersive & not just a gimmick,
The SDR is great and takes the image to the next level
The HDR is even better and takes the image of HDR content to outer space.
The build quality is solid & is easy to assemble. Literally just clicks in place.
I don't many specifics about monitors other than I don't regret my purchase, and am blown away every time I turn it on.
NOTE: Make sure not to use any ICC profiles in both SDR (use sRGB IEC61966 2.1 & DONT set to creator mode, it turns the colors grey) & HDR. It is already color calibrated from factory.

I recently purchased the Alienware 34-Inch OLED Monitor, and I have to say, it's an absolute game-changer. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the sleek design and build quality. The monitor feels premium, with its ultra-thin bezels and sturdy, adjustable stand. The customizable Alienware lighting on the back is a nice touch, adding a cool vibe to my setup.
The OLED display is, without a doubt, the highlight of this monitor. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and the blacks are so deep that it feels like you're looking at a high-quality movie screen rather than a regular monitor. Watching HDR content and playing games has never been this immersive. The contrast ratio is amazing—everything from bright explosions to dark, atmospheric environments looks stunning.
As a gamer, the performance of this monitor has been exceptional. The 165Hz refresh rate and 0.1ms response time make fast-paced games feel super smooth. I've tested it on FPS and racing games, and there's no ghosting or lag at all. Plus, the FreeSync support works flawlessly, ensuring a tear-free experience. The ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio is perfect for my gaming and multitasking needs, offering a much wider field of view in games and plenty of screen real estate for productivity.
One thing that really surprised me was how well it handles color accuracy. I do some light photo editing and graphic design work, and this monitor's color reproduction is spot-on. It’s factory-calibrated, which gives me confidence that what I see on screen will be true to life when I export it.
The only downside I’ve noticed is the potential for burn-in, as with all OLED displays. I’m cautious about leaving static images on the screen for long periods, but so far, I haven’t had any issues. The price is definitely on the higher side, but considering the stunning display and top-tier performance, I think it’s well worth the investment.
Overall, the Alienware 34-Inch OLED Monitor has exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a gamer, content creator, or just someone who loves great visuals, this monitor delivers on every front. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an upgrade that offers breathtaking visuals and unbeatable performance.

The Alienware AW3423DWF 34” QD-OLED monitor replaced a dual monitor setup that I’ve had for years. Originally, I really wanted a 49” monitor, but both size and price were a bit obnoxious for the desk space I’m working with. While there are some beautiful and capable monitors in the 49” ultrawide class, none (that I’m aware of) are OLED at this point. This was extremely important to me both for gaming and the work that I occasionally need to do from home. Size-wise, the Alienware 34” display hits the sweet spot for complete game immersion and multitasking when necessary.
If you’re looking to purchase this monitor, you know its specs. I want to point out the things that made the monitor stand out to me and why I wanted it so badly:
- Build quality is excellent. While the outer shell of the base, riser, and monitor housing are plastic, there is metal where it counts within the stand and mounting hinges. The monitor bezels are nice and thin. There’s 360 degrees of ventilation to ensure nothing overheats.
- Alienware includes DP to DP, DP to USB-C, and USB-B to USB-A cables. This is not always a given, so worth pointing out.
- OLED unfortunately runs the risk of burn in. Alienware has a 3 year warranty which covers you if this were to occur. The monitor itself will help you prevent this with reminders to run a pixel refresh after 4 hours of cumulative usage. Reminders can be turned off if you’d prefer not to receive them. You can also quickly view panel health in setting at any time.
- And of course there’s the display itself. This truly may be the most beautiful computer monitor I have ever seen. I’ve seen other reviewers describe the look as inky and I think that’s incredibly accurate. In an environment with limited sunlight and glare (which is where I keep my monitor), colors pop and nothing beats the true blacks that OLED boasts. Freesync and the 165 Hz refresh rate make gameplay buttery smooth, even when playing resource intensive FPS games (mileage may vary depending on your PC’s hardware). The VESA DisplayHDR TRUEBlack 400 certification and infinite contrast ratio were really important to me as I sometimes need to read radiographs (X-rays) from home. A high quality monitor is obviously critical to ensure I am doing my job well.
The Alienware AW3423DWF 34” QD-OLED monitor is simply stunning. I don’t want to minimize the cost of this monitor because it is a good chunk of change, but it is absolutely worth every penny. If you’ve been waiting for a really solid and versatile OLED monitor, do NOT hesitate to pick this up. You won’t be disappointed.

This my first wide monitor and OLED that I've bought. I use it for PC gaming mainly and wow. Picture looks beautiful. I bought it on sale and worth every penny, so far Alienware released an update to fix an HDR issue, so that tells me they don't just abandon their product and listen to their consumers.

Monitor pairs well with my PC. Never had an ultra wide before but now it would be hard to go back. Image quality is great. Colors produce the classic OLED image you would expect. Perfect blacks and nice colors that may be a bit over saturated at times. Only complain/wish they’d change would be an even higher refresh rate and fixing the Alienware software that helps you control the RGB and other options. That software is terrible.

I've been using the Alienware AW3423DWF 34" Quantum Dot OLED Curved Ultrawide Gaming Monitor for a few weeks now, and it has completely transformed my gaming experience. The 165Hz refresh rate combined with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro delivers buttery-smooth gameplay with no tearing or stuttering. The quantum dot OLED display offers stunning colors and deep blacks, making every game look incredibly vibrant and immersive. The 34" curved screen wraps around my field of view, enhancing the sense of immersion even further. It's also very versatile with multiple input options including HDMI and USB. Overall, this monitor is a game-changer and worth every penny for any serious gamer!

The pinnacle of gaming monitors is here

Finally monitors are starting to exist with all the bells and whistles I look for and more. This one is truly a sight to behold. If you were to go down a list and check off features available in any monitors on the market today you’d check off almost the entire list here and that has me very impressed. I’ve been a Dell customer for my monitors for many years as I have always preferred their attention to detail regarding their warranty process and the things that they consider important in a screen. For example, even a single dead pixel on an entire panel warrants attention from them and that is a big deal to me. As such, I have never owned a monitor from Dell/Alienware that wasn’t a perfect panel right out of the box and this OLED screen is no exception. Even the packaging is well thought out for protecting your investment right to your door and ensuring that it’s also easy to setup when it arrives. As soon as I had it plugged in and working it was immediately apparent compared to my other monitor that I always considered very high end that this is leaps and bounds above in overall quality and performance. The colors pop, HDR brightness is fantastic at 1000 nits, and gaming on my RTX 3060 is buttery smooth even though my gpu may be a bit underpowered for a monitor like this. I could see details in mass effect legendary edition that I’d never seen before now despite having played it many times through. Even in a much more demanding game such as Forza Horizon 5 there was never any tearing, stuttering or artifacting of any kind while I play. All the additional color spectrum from the quantum dot technology and the perfect blacks of the OLED panel combined with the ultra-high refresh at 165hz make for something I would easily call the complete package. It even has RGB lighting on the backside to light up your wall and add to your gaming experience. OLED solves the problems I’ve had with other gaming monitors of the past with better colors, better blacks, better refresh, and no light blooming effects from LED lighting on a normal LCD display. I cannot find a single thing to say about this screen that would bring it down in any way. I’m blown away by how good it is and very happy to be gaming on an OLED screen at last on my PC. The wait was long, but this screen has made it worth it and I can’t recommend it enough.

After trying several monitors and really putting my memberships return policy to the test. Then FINALLY this beauty shows up and goes on sale for $599!!! I immediately made the jump to give QD-OLED a chance and at the price and features, I felt like this was a HUGE opportunity. This didn't disappoint. If you ever have questioned should I upgrade to this monitor tech...even at full price this thing is a HUGE VALUE. NO GHOSTING, NO BLEED, PURE COLOR REPRESENTATION AND PURE CONTRAST. The features are insane the USB port feedback gives you plenty of ability to add some new options to your setup and even just reorganize. Multi DisplayPorts and IT COMES WITH ALL THE CABLES YOU NEED. You can't really put the value into words. Buy it, if you can, and experience it for yourself, you won't regret it.

BEAUTIFUL!
Seriously, that’s all you need to know. I’ve had this monitor for almost 4 months, and I can say this is hands down the best decision I could have made.
The OLED display is great, and the ultra wide viewing angle with the curve is an easy adjustment if you are coming from a normal wide display.
You will see comments and complaints about the 4 hour warning for refreshing. It will take 6-8 minutes to do, so ensure you work that into your schedule, but it is not required to do it in that time, just recommended. In my experience, this is a nuisance, and a warning that I turned off. I may have 5 hours of constant monitor time, but that’s rare. Just ensure the display gets refreshed for longevity.
This is a worthwhile purchase for anyone wanting a ultra wide OLED display.

Had it for 2 years now, the image quality is amazing and I had no issues, no burn out even though I do use it for work most of the time, I also did not find any issues with text as some of the reviews mention.
minor issues
1. Coil wine when panel is refreshing, lasts 5-8 minutes
2. you have to refresh panel every 4 hours which can be annoying if the prompt comes up when your working.
3. navigating the menu can be frustrating
none of which are deal breaker, I recommend this monitor

Great monitor, picture quality is amazing and can’t go back after switching to OLED. Only worry/downside is the inevitable burn-in that will occur after lots of usage. As long as your somewhat careful about not leaving any static images displayed on the screen, it’ll hold up fairly well.

This is a huge improvement over my previous Acer 34” ultrawide monitor. I’m very impressed with the image quality and bright vibrant colors. Games and videos loos super good.
I had also been using an LG G1 OLED 4K tv as a monitor before this. I don’t miss the 4K tv as a monitor at all.
This thing looks great and has a faster refresh rate. Ultrawide is also my preferred format for FPS games.
I run a RTX 4090 with this monitor and due to it having compatibility with Gsync, I have had no issues. It works as flawless as my Gsync certified Acer monitor and LG G1.
Highly recommend this monitor if looking for an ultrawide.
Also, this model can be updated easily. So when firmware updates are released, you can navigate to dells support site and get the latest updates.
