I have owned MANY monitors of different resolutions and form factors in the last 30 years or so and this is absolutely the very BEST one I have ever used. Clear, Crisp, a bit pricey, but worth it! The lighting effects are just the icing on a very tasty cake. But it LOOKS terriffic on your desk or in your game room. I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor to any gamer or ANYONE. If you can get it at a good price, get it.

Bought this monitor a few months ago from Dell directly but it arrived damaged, so I had to return it. Gave it a second chance and this thing looks amazing. The subpixel layout text issues so many people complain about is a nonissue to me, can't even notice it. I do use it for productivity, work from home 8 to 10 hours a day - CLI interfaces, text editors, outlook, databases, etc. and play 2 or 3 hours at night. It's always a pleasure to look at, never had any gaming or business monitor with such an amazing picture quality. I take a few breaks during the day, so I don't even notice the pixel maintenance routine, as it's done automatically when the monitor goes into standby mode after 4 or 5 hours of continuous use. Burn in is always something to keep in mind, I've always used dark mode all over, hidden my taskbar by default and all that actually helps prevent it. The maintenance routine should be enough though, according to Dell. On this monitor, there is a 3 year burn in warranty - you may also get an additional year with certain credit cards. Always get a warranty on OLED monitors, particularly these first gen ones with Samsung panels. I've seen some reviews claiming that the warranty only applies to monitors purchased directly from Dell, but that's not accurate - already checked with Dell's customer service. You do get your 3-year warranty, which includes burn-in protection, with advance replacement.

It's a whole new world with this massive monitor. Now that I have been using it for more than a month I have trouble working on my work monitor. In comparison other monitors feel very outdated. I am going to spring to buy another one for my workplace. I have several businesses where I have to get screengrabs for daily reporting and it is great to have all the real estate as opposed to shrinking my documents to get them to fit full size in a screen grab. It's also my go to system now for all graphic design. I use it for web development and advertising development in addition to my accounting work. It's pricey but as with most things you get what you pay for. I use it on my MacBook Pro and my current screensaver is a shot of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. It is so cool when the screen saver comes on the tiny cars begin to drive across the bridge and the ocean water underneath undulates as in real time. It turns my monitor into artwork when I am not working. If you compare this to other OLED monitors it is actually a good price point.

It’s an amazing piece of hardware and hands down one of my favorite monitors of all time. It’s been 2 years since i bought this and the quality hasn’t diminished one bit. No burn in or dead pixels. I use it for gaming, work, and entertainment. It handles all three without breaking a sweat.

I’m really happy with this thing. It’s gorgeous. OLED is a huge upgrade. I was very hesitant about the wide screen at first. But it’s honestly perfect, I love it. Could not be happier. As both a big time gamer and an avid movie watcher.

Coming from a 1080p tn panel, this OLED monitor is crazy nice. First experience with 1440p, OLED and ultrawide and I'm astounded by the difference in quality. If you're looking to emget this monitor though I'd suggest having a pretty beefy graphics card because this monitor is definitely demanding. Running a 6950 XT and it's been good so far

    4K or OLED, I pick 4K.

I settled on 4K monitors after trying many high refresh rate options a while back. The main reason had to do with motion clarity. There are many features that must work together to bring good motion clarity, some of the options I tried before were limited by the panel tech and could only do so much. OLED has many benefits that would lead one to believe the experience would be exceptional, but that's not always the case. After reading many reviews online and referencing TFTCentral/RTINGS, I decided to try again. Positives: Exceptional colors Exceptional blacks Negatives: Alienware bloatware auto installed for some reason(absolutely hate this) Motion clarity still not quite there Resolution downgrade immediately noticeable at desktop The motion clarity is improved from my two IPS LG monitors(34WK95U/27BK85U), but it's still not comparable to my iPhone 13 Pro. Reading text during slow scrolling is not as clear on the DWF. For whatever reason, trying multiple settings and browsers on W10 Pro could not solve the issue. I started up a couple games and made sure to hit the max panel rate, better but still not quite there. Now I find myself still taking a motion clarity hit on top of the lower screen resolution. I'm back to where I started, if I can't get clear motion either way, I rather trade it off for 4K. While some of the issues might stem from a Windows problem, there is not a way for me to fix that, so the experience is whatever I get. I find it much easier to find and use 4K content, be it movies, games, or productivity, vs trying to work with the DWF. Once the pop up came up mentioning it had to run a pixel refresh, the coffin was shut. What HDR setting should be used and issues it can cause, let's start filling the grave. There are still too many compromises for me to be happy, but I can see why the monitor has many good reviews. If you are coming from a 1080p screen or are already at 1440p, there are only benefits to be had. For me, this isn't good enough to give up 4K. MSI seems to be coming out with a 32" 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitor next year(2024). It'll still be a PPI hit(163 to 139), but it might be enough to keep me happy. Until then, I'll stick to my two 4K monitors.

This monitor is awesome. I was able to get a great deal by asking an associate what they best value for money was ,and he got me the last one! At the price you CANNOT beat it! The stand is really beefy and the wires they included pretty much can connect with any computer. Everything was well presented in the box, and you can tell this was a premium product. A+ for BestBuy offering this at a great price when I purchased it.

I got this monitor for $799 on a sale and i am very happy with it. I dont know what i was expecting as ive never had an oled monitor, just phones. Im honestly very happy with the monitor all around. The ultrawide resolution mixed with oled is simply so beautiful. I would say the onlh thing that is sad is no hdmi2.1

    Best Monitor I've Had

Love this monitor! Had this for about 5 months now so I've had time to put it through some gaming and content use. I had a decent 34" Ultrawide monitor before this model but after building a high end PC for the first time, I couldn't resist springing for an OLED monitor. One issue with my previous monitor was noticeable ghosting during movement while displaying any black images. This is a non-issue with this monitor. Everything is smooth and colors are great as you would expect with an OLED. I haven't had any trouble or worries with burn in. I use the Pixel Refresh feature as often as it appears and I keep my wallpapers on rotation, as well as auto hiding the taskbar and setting my PC to turn screen off after a short time. This may be an issue for some depending on your use case but for me it works great.

The picture quality is just stunning! Everything is crisp, vivid and just well... amazing! Too bad that it is prone to burn in and the OLED pixel refreshing is annoying as well. Do you allow the monitor to run its maintenance cycle every 4 hours, takes a few minutes, or run the risk of causing issues sooner.. With it being an ultrawide you may also end up with bars burned in if you watch a bunch of YouTube or 16:9 videos. I would encourage you to do some research before this purchase.

This is just the best monitor I have ever laid my eyes on. “Wow” is just the most accurate definition. The OLED makes this just top of the line. I always had a negative comment as I would believe Alienware is just too overpriced. But now I see why. Every penny is worth it

Using for light word processing sitting over two feet away and otherwise for gaming and watching videos. Works flawlessly for that purpose. As you probably already know, the monitor will ask to be refreshed every few hours which lasts 6-8 minutes each time. I use this time to take a break and refresh so it doesn't bother me and you can elect not to do it so it's not a thing for me but I would be annoyed if I had not known about it going in.

Lets start with the good: good picture quality with deep black like all oleds, gets a bit brighter with the quantom dots, fast response, color customization for rgb, and firmware updates. Height and tilt adjustable which is perfect for my set up. Bad: product is not Nvidia validated so once turning on hdr and using g-sync i started having washed out colors, poor framerate, and consistent screen flicker making it difficult to play games. This is with 4090 and 7800 x3d and my 65 in lg c2 just does it all better. It sucks since the ultrawide format was great for school. I would recommend if you have an AMD or intel GPU. If you have Nvidia, perhaps look for another option.
