Great monitor couple minor things and 1 PSA

It's a great monitor and not only looks great, but the games and videos look crisp, sharp and clean! A couple of things to remember though is that there is a automatic refresh request that comes up once in a while and if you click "Yes" it takes about 5 to 7 minutes to complete. Also, there was what seemed to be an issue that there was no signal that kept happening but that was due to the computer going into sleep mode. If your computer does that you can either turn the sleep mode off or change it to a longer time frame before going into sleep mode. The reason you want to do this is because, at least with mine, it would not recognize the signals from my wireless mouse or wireless keyboard until I hit the power button on my computer to get it out of sleep mode. This can potentially cause some confusions with some people where they think the problem is with the monitor. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the request for refresh that pops up now and again, there is not a "No" response, only a "Yes" to go through the refresh process. So you have to let it stay there overlaying everything, until it goes away. I haven't gone into the menu yet to see if I can disable it, so if you can disable it, you can disregard this, but if there is no way to disable it, then that justifies my 4 star review. Lastly, I didn't pay attention closely enough the specs and documentation on this monitor and had expected up to 4k, but that's only possible with consoles @ 60fps. That being said, with a 4070 Ti Super, at 1440p and all graphics maxed out in RDR2 my fps ranged from 85 to 115 and looked gorgeous. And with Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p and all graphics maxed out, I was getting between 75 and 105 fps, so still pretty good!!

Amazing Monitor for gaming. OLED panel is a beauty to look at. As long as you keep a regular schedule on the monitor pixel refresh. Burn in won't be an issue.

    Fantastic Panel

Every visual is absolutely stunning and the contrast of the panel combined with the ability to do 1000 nits in 2% of the screen makes it nearly eye searing at half brightness. It has an excellent color gamut with Adobe RGB coverage in particular being exception for this price class. Great for gaming and photo/video editing in my experience. I’ve not noticed any burn-in either after 3 months of use; to be fair I’ve used the pixel refresh feature every four hours when a pop up reminds me to. My only gripe is that recently I’ve noticed an incredibly high pitched sound coming from the monitor while it’s in standby. So high pitched that I think if you were too much older than 30 you may not even detect it. The sound actually hurts my ears until I turn on my computer, then the fan sound and headphones drown it out. Despite that it’s an easy recommendation.

Great monitor and I got it as open box so was able to save money. It has very nice image quality as this is OLED. Comes with a bunch of cables (hdmi, DP, usb-c to DP) Easy to assemble and set it up. Would recommend to others who game and work on this monitor.

Once you go OLED you don’t go back! The colors the picture is breath taking! Wish I waited a year because it’s less than what I paid a year ago but still worth it.

It didn’t make me feel like it was a great upgrade, just sort of a gimmick. Don’t get me wrong though it looks pretty good when having something of lesser value next to it for comparison. I wouldn’t recommend buying it at this price because it’s not that much and a game changer, and I kind of prefer 16:9 4k, even with some games.

This monitor is great, I use it mainly for games and for homework from time to time. But the pixel refresh or panel usage showing yellow gives me a bit of anxiety, thinking if it was a good idea to buy this monitor but for the price it’s okay. I’ll live.

Alienware made an amazing 34 ultra wide monitor, it has stunning picture with beautiful color and deep blacks. World Of Warcraft look and played so detailed and with no delay or motion blur, but the UI did not scake properly on the ultrwide so i had no choice but to return it.

Best computer monitor I ever used. Only issue is reverse burn in on qd-oled ultrawides when vieiwing 16:9 content. If you plan to use this for console gaming, I’d avoid. However, if you plan to always keep 21:9 content up you really cant get much better than this right now.

This monitor is a replacement to my HP Omen 27” monitor that died a week ago. I was torn between this and the Samsung 49” OLED. The pricepoint, sizes and features of this monitor are perfect. The colors are vivid, the blacks are black with no bleeding from bright objects. The packaging of this monitor is amazing, you would have to smash the box in order to damage this monitor in the packaging. Its easy to unbox an assemble, and repackage if you like to save the boxes for moving and such. Didnt need any tools to assemble the stand to the monitor or disassemble. Monitor kicked right on, immediately downloaded software for it and updated critical firmware update for the monitor. Couple days of gaming on it and no issues. I like that Alienware offers a 3 yr warranty on the monitor even thought Im a totaltech member. If your looking a monitor give this one a go, you wont be disappointed.

This monitor is incredible! The colors, depth, contrast are all a treat to play games with, if they support HDR. The inital setup can be a little tedious as to gain the best panel preformance you need to install a new firmware to the monitor, which isnt difficult in and of itsself, but tinkering with color settings and HDR can be a little annoying if you’re not familar with color profiles and HDR as a whole. But once this panel is setup correctly theres nothing quite like it as far as PC monitors go. Truly breathtaking!

This monitor is so good that I literally compared it with Dell’s only 4k monitor for playing multiple games and the picture looks better and clearer on this monitor - every time. I had been convinced that I needed a 4K setup - I learned that what I truly needed was an ultrawide monitor and OLED.

Easily one of the top UWQHD OLED gaming that money can buy. Massive upgrade over my old 34” LCD ultrawide. Very good HDR and variable frame rate support.
