I bought this monitor about a week ago because of the great reviews I had seen online. Other than the odd ultra wide 21:9 compatibility issues this monitor is fantastic and there is no going back after experiencing HDR1000 OLED. Notably nfs unbound, red dead 2, and watching movies like guardians of the galaxy 3 in their native aspect ratio. I got an open box with no dead pixels first try. Would buy again.

I thought my VA panel Dell S3220DGF 32” 1440p 165Hz display was pretty nice. It does not hold a candle to this monitor, this Alienware 34” ultra wide qd-oled is ridiculously good.

I have a fair bit of experience with OLED panels in general. From phones, tablets, and TV's, I have owned a handful of devices with OLED screens. This AW3424DWF is my first OLED pc monitor though, and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. I thought I was impressed with my 34" ultrawide with Nano-IPS panel, but this QD-OLED panel turns everything up to 11. HDR gaming is finally not only possible, but worthwhile on this monitor. The best way to describe the screen while gaming is "inky." Every image on the screen, and every color looks like it was painted on. Blacks are pure black, colors pop, and HDR elements and lighting just pop. It's a huge step forward in graphical clarity and quality over an IPS panel, and I always loved my IPS panels for their color reproduction. When I am not gaming, I use this monitor for work as well, splitting the screen in half to use "dual monitors" on a single screen. I have zero issues with text clarity, working on spreadsheets, etc. It's just a pleasure to look at regardless of what I am playing or working on.

Wow, amazing monitor. I got sucked in to the youtube pits of monitor reviews and it made it challenging to pick the one I wanted. The LG 27" and this one were my picks as of June 2023. I chose this one because it was a glossy screen. The Blacks are deep, the colors are rich, the brightness is excellent. I have been using hdr 400, I'll try out 1000, but I think its too bright, so I need to play with it a bit more. Text is fine, I think I noticed the "fringing" once, but as I am writing this review, I cannot see it. If I put my face up to the screen as close as I can I think I can see something? Does it matter NO, because I cannot see it. I got this Monitor for $780 with two discounts and a credit card discount, so wait for that sale. The curve is nice, the size of the screen is about as big as I would ever get.

I am not a gamer, but was attracted to this monitor because of the specs, resolution, HDR and other features and could not be more pleased with the results.

Fantastic image quality, motion clarity, and perfect blacks make my previous IPS monitor look washed out. I'm not worried about burn in since I'm using this monitor exclusively for gaming, if I'm not gaming the monitor is not on.

awesome monitor, only downside is mild text clarity reduction but it is not noticible for me and i use it just as much for productivity as i do media.

The Oled panel is absolutely stunning! The colors are so deep and so bright its amazing! I highly reccomend !

Its amazing perfect blacks and very bright. The HDR is out of this world. I love it wouldnt dream of using anything else now.

Amazing picture quality. But kinda annoying with the pixel refresh popups. You can set it to automatic so it does it automatically which should be the default. There was 1 dead pixel on the corner which is not that visible under use so it doesn't matter. Dell provided type c cable doesn't work with steam deck. Driver issues :(. Better buy a dock for it. Overall amazing value. One of the best for gaming.

Great blacks and highlights. Was easy to mount and has great screen health. I got it open box so it was a huge steal! This is my second ultrawide so for those who haven’t used one, it is a learning curve of understanding which games work well

Really great monitor adjustable height good range of rotation and picture quality. Picture refresh is a good addition to keep it from burning but if you have the monitor on for more than 4 hours the notification to refresh your monitor might get annoying other than that really like this
