Not exactly sure why so many great reviews on this product. I recently got a M17 R4 and wanted to stick with Alienware (everything) so i got these headphones. The "bass" is subpar and distorted when i turned the system up. The comfort is nice but if the sound is bad then who cares about comfort. I'm sure there are much better options out there, i gave these to my son so he can use with his iPad. Not impressed with this product at all.

It was easy to navigate the store and find what i wanted for my gaming set up. The help of not only employees but of the electronic tags were incredible.

Very easy and werent difficult at all. I appreciate them for not making trading in items bc they don’t work with your setup difficult.

Bought these for my son as a Christmas gift. I asked him a few days afterwards how he liked them. He gave me the thumbs up!!

It is an okay headset compared with my HyperX - Cloud Alpha Pro.

You can easily stay ahead of the competition wearing this headset. I was actually able to hear enemy footsteps coming around corners, way before they saw me.It was like having your own personal radar active all the time. Enemy players could be heard complaining on how I knew their locations. The 7.1 surround sound definitely helps you pinpoint anything making a sound around your player.The 50mm drivers deliver a very rich sound, that actually brings everything to life. The bass delivers a real sense of impact, and every sound is heard with amazing clarity. The Headset itself feels like a very sturdy build, and has a very convenient retractable microphone. The look is very space age, with a distinct design. The cables even feel pretty durable with their braided construction. The unit comes with 2 sets of direct connect cables, and 1 computer Y audio adapter. Both direct connect cables have mute switches as well as volume controls.I like the controls on the USB cable better, as the volume control has push buttons, as opposed to the dial on the 3.5mm cable. The mute switch slides on and off, on both cables. The USB cable offers a much deeper and higher quality sound with the 7.1 surround feature vs. the 3.5mm Stereo connection. Both offer great sound, but the 7.1 is gonna be the real advantage you want. It's what really gives you an accurate direction, and real depth to the sounds. The Headset can be used on any type of device with either a 3.5mm audio plug, or USB port, which should cover all video game systems, PCs, phones, tablets, and even MACs(but without the Alienware controll center). The Alienware Control Center is available for select Alienware PCs only, but the headset can still function correctly without it. I connected the headset to my phone, with very favorable results, even though the 3.5mm jack is just for stereo, it sounded like their was more direction in the audio than just the L and R channels.It's really pretty neat to get such an experience from a headset. The overall audio quality is most impressive, and the headset itself is light and comfortable to wear. I don't have any complaints about this headset so far, everything is great! Alienware has been around sine 1996, Dell acquired them in 2006. Both companies had been making quality hardware before the merger, and continue to do so. With a 2 year warranty and great support backing these products how can you go wrong. I have bought several other Alienware products in the past few years, that I am still using, and still work great.

Great quality, only downside is the cord easily gets twisted and sometimes that can be annoying. But yeah, wouldn’t want anything else

I recently had a chance to try out Alienwares 7.1 Gaming Headset and here is my review of them. I do consider myself somewhat of an audiophile, And these headsets do sound good but not great like the high-end gaming headsets out there,and these headsets do sound good but not great like the high-end gaming headsets out there. Overall at $100, these are a good deal and sound better than these Xbox branded headsets that go for $60 that i was using at one time. Overall these sound just as good as headsets that cost between $120-$150. These definitely do not sound as good as the high end gaming headsets, because those sound a little better and have more bass to them (something that these Alienware headsets lack a bit) and are 100% wireless where these need to be connected via the audio jack. I tried these out on my gaming PC and xbox one and they worked for both with no problems. Overall the quality of these headsets are top notch for their price point, good quality plastics and imitation leather. The cushion themselves are very soft and comfortable, I have no problem wearing these for a long period of time. Now I have two small issues with these headsets, number one like I mentioned before the bass is somewhat lacking, so if you play a lot of shooters the guns don’t really “pop” Like they should, And last but not least this is going to be very technical but it claims to be 7.1 surround sound, I couldn’t really hear it, they must be using a Dolby pro logic approach to these which means that they take the stereo sound and convert it into virtual 7.1 surround sound, this is not a bad thing, they are still great for gaming it’s just that in my opinion to get true surround sound, some kind of amp device is needed. So in conclusion if you are looking for a gaming headset around the $100 price range, you cannot go wrong with these, better value than the overpriced other headsets like Turtle Beach.

That's Alienware for you. I just purchased it to match with my Alienware laptop though.

Vary good and good Price I don’t have no complaint about The headset at all but I am happy to play my games!!!
