|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For a gaming headset I appreciate the simple design, it does have a little flair from alienwares recent hardware line, but there isn't anything overall flashy. The headset itself adjust by the earcups themselves, the frame does not move up and down which is a little bit of a change from other headset. The headset looks like it may be a little bulky, overall it does have a very lightweight feel. The memory foam and overall size of the earcups are comfortable, I don't feel my ear pushing against the inside of the headset so this give a much more enjoyable experience. The retractable MIC is nice, I haven't heard any negative feedback from those in chat as I have with similar designed microphones from other brand headsets. The L and R inside the earcups is a nice design touch. I do appreciate all of the cables included with the headset itself, they are are interchangeable from the headset itself. The headset comes with a 3.5mm to USB cable , a standard 3.5mm cable, and a 3.5mm splitter for mic and headset ports on a soundcard or I/O panel. The standard 3.5mm cable and USB cable both have in line controls. Overall this is a really well rounded headset, all of the included cables gives you the means to use this headset for most any gaming platform, you can even use this with your phone if you have a 3.5mm jack or a 3.5mm adapter for your device.The headset out of the box is very comfortable, I expect it to get ever more so once the memory foam wears a little.

Adjusting the volume
Use the volume control wheel on the audio cable or the volume (+/-) buttons
on the USB cable with DAC to adjust the speaker volume.
In the audio cable, scroll the volume control wheel up to increase the volume, or
down to decrease the volume.
In the USB cable with DAC, press the volume (+) button to increase the volume,
or the volume (-) button to decrease the volume.

It got to the point where it just wouldn’t connect to my pc. Not sure if it was defective or if it’s a common problem.

Great Comfort and Sound

I used them for a few hours at a time and did not experience any ear fatigue. Once i delved into the 3 hour range i did feel a little bit of discomfort but the memory foam is very comfortable. The design does look very sharp, i am not a huge dell fan but these are pretty sharp! The microphone design is pretty slick and it is clear when talking online. The sound quality, which is the whole point of these headphones is about what i expected for the price point and the design. I have trouble distinguishing the 7.1 sound but it becomes apparent when it comes to the faintest of background sounds in the game play. it does help give you a feel of anxiety when in the huge battles and you hear the bullets whizzing by or the explosions all around you. It is a huge plus for gamers that don't want to break the bank. The sounds are crisp and the bass is very decent! Definitely recommend it.
