Specs are good, but the design by Dell stinks. Putting the CPU mid case with little to no ventilation caused this unit to sound like a jet engine at take off. Ended up taking this back and purchasing another computer elsewhere.

But Dell's automatic driver update makes me headache and the machine does not boot. It seems I need to install a fresh windows 10 to make it start. If pre-built does not come with the convenience then consumer should consider other options.

The dell Rep treated me like an idiot when I called them up to ask them how to fix the fan issues. With this being said, none of this was Best Buys fault. it's all on Dell

Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear about the performance issues that you've had with your new desktop so far. We'd recommend updating the BIOS on your computer to help with the fan noise that you're experiencing. the Alienware Control Center should be able to help you with any performance issues that you're facing and it will allow you to choose a thermal profile that works best for your usage. If you continue to experience Blue Screen Errors you can diagnose them with the following steps:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
We'd also suggest checking to make sure that your software and drivers are up to date on Dell's Product Page - http://dell.to/3aMlQD5.

Disappointment a lesson about futility

Would never recommend this model.

It does have an annoying noise factor when certain games are loading and/or being played that I never experienced with gaming computers that I previously owned. However it does not seem to affect game play. Otherwise overall I am satisfied.

Then I procced to figure out that it has a B550 which cannot withstand a ryzen 7 3700x. It can only hold at the most a ryzen 7 2700. Also I belive since the cpu is wrong it dosent include its AMD Radeon RX 5700 Xt and probaly has a lower model or a Geoforce. I would like Dell to reply to my message and explain. It runs games pretty well but I paid way too much to not have the right stuff.

Thank you for your review. We understand how important the chipset of your motherboard is. You would be correct, the Aurora R10 utilizes a B550 motherboard. Rest assured however that is is compatible with the Ryzen 7 3700X, the system would not be functional otherwise.
