I have had friends with higher end alienware laptops who continually get bluescreen during FPS gameplay and so far this one has only had that happen 3-4 times in roughly a year of ownership. Can consistently get 100-150 frames per second depending on gameplay quality. Definitely worth the money if you plan to play a lot. I recommend buying a quality monitor to accompany the laptop though as the screen size means you will have to be a little closer if you want to play well. 15 inches only cuts it in one area of life... and this aint it:)

The ability to control the cooling system is a big plus although rarely needed.

Also no number pad, laptop definitely needs a cooling pad, can get a little hot, also purchasing a separate keyboard is highly recommended when gaming, keys are too small and too close together. Other than that LOVE THIS LAPTOP
