Not a Pleasant Experience

Ok, i adjusted the fan settings. Then it started having a black screen with only the mouse cursor visible everytime i closed the laptop. Several hard restarts had to be done to turn it on. I have called geek squad and they remotly ran through the computer and that fixed the issue.. for only 3 days. Im also seeing now that Dell has admitted to disabling 10% of the cores on the RTX 3070 GPU on this laptop..? This was not disclosed on the box or when i bought it. I paid too much to have so many problems with a brand new laptop. This is ridiculous.

Great until it wouldn't boot

I saw many user reviews and reviews online about overheating and getting to temps far beyond the normal. I ignored all the reviews and purchased it. After I got it full updated, I launch my first game. After playing for about an hour it crashed and screen went black. I went to reboot and would turn on but screen stayed black. Very disappointed in Alienware for this so returned the laptop and bought another brand at best buy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this laptop.
