Laptop seems ok, however it arrived with minimal packaging in a cardboard box. Literally, all there was in the box was the laptop, the power supply and a single strip of bubble wrap. I'm amazed the laptop was only lightly scuffed from the journey. I have no problems with buying a laptop that isn't in its original packaging, but really......protect that laptop a little Best Buy before shipping it out!

Have had this for 8 months now and it’s an Excellent gaming laptop, must have battery plugged in at all times but worth it to me. Powerful.

The battery life is disimal and it gets very hot during use. You can set up override and control the fans yourself and cool it off which is nice.

buy this to play Diablo 2 Resurrected. Game Crashed very frequently, the screen is flickering here and there. Have to keep restart the pc in order to replay. Not so worth it in my opinion, maybe I just have bought a defected one, sadly. Couldnt get support through the "my alienware", bestbuy techs also couldnt help much with this.

Great machine, at the start my new laptop give the option to transfer all my folders and configurations from my older laptop, pretty awesome. The initial set up its a little bit slower and tricky but not impossible (drivers, bios, lan port) and then... fast, fast, fast. When I started to playing my games, after an hour of gaming, commencing to look bad, like bugging or something. (the fans wont working and I didn't notice it, because I was playing with my earphones on. After that, I set up the fans in the alienware app and, till now, all are working pretty great.

Great computer, super fast processor and graphics. Would recommend putting it on a stand cause the cooling fans underneath it get really hot.

I battled myself for years over buying this, my friend has one and loves it...i couldn't really justify it as i have a nice desk top. I didn't understand what a huge difference there is between a gaming and regular computer. The associate was so kind patient and knowledgeable, he took so long going through all the different things. I got it home, and wow.... unbelievable! I wish I'd got it 2 years ago. It loads so many games into it, plays so well. I just absolutely love it

Bought this laptop for my kiddo last Christmas and now I'm looking to replace the battery. It will not hold a charge. Really? So frustrating for the amount of money it cost.

Fantastic! Just great! It's fast, very fast, and not over loaded with bloatware. It does run a little hot though.

Good so far, it does get warm but that’s Ryzen for you. I really like the look and feel of the laptop. Read other people’s reviews and try to update certain things to make it run better.

Amazing graphics for anything and everything you do (games, videos, homework, workwork, etc.) But the fan is just too loud and annoying. I've tried customizing the settings but when you do, the overall performance declines. So you either have a really good but loud laptop, or a quiet but average laptop. I highly recommend getting the X17 or newer models. I had the X17, but had to downgrade to this because all the stores near me were sold out. And I couldnt wait 5-7 business days for BestBuy to ship me a new X17 because school and work wasn't going to wait. Thus leading to this downgrade.

Kid loves it. Value for money. It’s fast and the graphics are excellent.
