Great laptop awesome graphics the speed is incredible. It was definitely worth the money

When I got this computer it was sold to me as a brand new computer that was just returned. However, it had a used pc box and sounded like the speakers were busted. When I was finally able to use the pc i sat down and downloaded the music software i recently purchased. As it downloaded i listened to spotify and played solitaire. The sound quality was just awful and sounded like the speakers were blown out and being played with the "under water" setting turned on for playback. The pc also died within 30 minutes. I figured maybe it was just too much at once so i charged it back up and got back on it the next day. This time i just played around on the music maker i downloaded. 15 minutes later it literally burned my lap and shut off again. (This is also through a lapdesk with air holes on the bottom. It got that hot) i called dell a few times and got them to "test and repair" it but every time it has came back it has sounded the same way and died just as quickly. With no ethernet port, no disc drive, poor sound quality, and a battery that wouldn't even last through a couple games of solitaire for more than a half hour this pc leaves ALOT to be desired.

Runs tarkov well, meet the requirements i need for work and if the rgb lighs worked it would get a 5

I'm not a big fan of gaming laptops, but this one is amazing!

awesome gaming rig in a laptop. decent speakers loud enough to play without headphones. decent battery life close to average of any gaming laptop. the rtx 3070 is a great card to play almost any game without stutters. i play all the games on ultra or highest setting. no problems. had my eye on these models for years. finally got one no regrets.

I always get Alienware. Solid support. Had a tech come to my house to fix the front camera.

So far so good! It’s a good laptop, it runs a bit warm but if you turn the fans up it’s fine. I haven’t had any big issues, only thing I had happen two times now is the screen will be black and have to restart it. Not sure what that’s all about why I removed one star. It enters windows “use Face ID” and the screen is just black. So I gotta windows key + x and guess the shutdown location. “Windows key + x arrow key up twice arrow right once and down twice to get to shutdown….” Other then that it runs everything great I play red dead and MSFS with no issues. It runs warm as I said so I’d get some fans to sit it on.

Bought it as the Christmas gift for my son, who is an engineering student. He is extremely happy with it.

Nice laptop, but you need to know how to setup it so it will not overheat. I like how fans work, very silent but cooling can be better. Don't worry about games, you will be able to play all of them.

This is an outstanding laptop!!!! The battery life is not great, but you cannot expect the battery life on such a high performing laptop to be all that great. If you are looking for a powerful laptop computer that can handle playing the best of PC games and Xbox games, this is the one for you!!!!

Charger brick is quite large, and somewhat cumbersome to manage if you move things alot. Other than that, machine performs as expected. Keyboard feels nice.

I bought this while on vacation to do some gaming. And while the laptop itself was awesome: Great aesthetics, light weight, etc. The one big thing for me that was bad was the cooling solution. This thing was LOUD when at full fan speed. And the games I play are pretty demanding, so it was just a constant max fan speed for hours. And this thing gets HOT!!!!!!. Very poor cooling solution from Alienware. I ended up getting a different laptop (from BestBuy to review: The MSI Delta 15) and it was vastly better than this in terms of long term use and comfort. I like Alienware. But they have a lot to learn in the cooling department.

My omen gaming laptop is as good as this one. I bought this as a upgrade and I should have saved my money.

it's pretty good. On Metro Exodus it has problems at max settings for HD. I don't think it could handle 4K and it should be able to. It also lacks a Thunderbolt connection.
