Overall it's good. But not as good as the AMD chip in the same machine. The screen still has the same bleeding problems and ACC is still so hard to use even with the new version 6.0. It has more problems than the old 5.0 version. The AMD CPU is more stable than Intel and does not have the problem of frame skipping, so I would recommend buying the M16 with AMD chip.

Great laptop that exceeds expectations. Only downside is battery life, but with a high performance laptop, this should be expected.

Good afternoon. I bought it in March 2023. It plays games perfectly, during all this time that I have been using it there have been no problems, everything works well, it receives heavy loads but copes without straining. the only negative that I noticed was the sound of the built-in speakers, but I use headphones and therefore I think this is not significant, but the fact that it does not heat up under load made me very happy, before that I had HP and Lenovo which constantly overheated)

Great specs on the Alienware laptop, but I’m extremely disappointed that the screen broke just over a month after purchase. For a premium brand, I expected much better durability. I wouldn’t recommend buying an Alienware unless it comes with a solid warranty. To make things worse, it will take Dell or Best Buy 6 weeks to repair it. Not a good experience at all.

I absolutely love it never was really in the position when i was younger to afford something this nice to game on. It gets 240 fps consistently on wow in regular setting and 100-150 in raids. Would recommend this item. One problem though i had to configure my network adapter to get the wireless speeds im suppose to get but once i tweaked the settings i get 250-300 Mbs wirelessly. So keep that tip in mind if you read these reviews.

SO here’s the deal, I tried legit 3 Alienware m18 “because it was better” that was a lie the screen on it was so bad and the light leak was so bad it upset me. I finally said okay let’s try this one I don’t need an 18” screen when I legit plug it into a 48” LG C3 OLED, moving forward. This laptop is the best I love her she is amazing. Don’t blink get it. I upgraded the ram to 32 gb and the storage to 5 tb. I love it.

Just got this for my son. First I got an Alienware laptop that turned out to be a lemon. Replaced it with this, which matches all the specs of Alienware. My son is happy so far, he is a serious gamer.

Would be 5 Stars if I didnt need to have Dell support figure out why my AWCC wasnt working for over 2 hours. On a positive note Dell support was great and tried everything to figure out my issue. This is definitely a great Laptop that can basically run any game for a good price. Got mine open box and saved a few hundred.

So far it has worked really well. Make sure you update all your drivers and install the nvidia game ready drivers for best performance. Keyboard is one of the best I've felt on a laptop. Wish it came with the Cherry MX option but for a standard keyboard it is very good. Screen could be brighter but the colors are decent. Runs Diablo IV very well although I still feel that a QHD display is overkill for a 16" laptop. Would definitely recommend, the 4080 is a really good mobile GPU.

Subpar quality parts & service - AVOID Alienware!

Constant graphics card and Windows crashes — I’ve spent more time troubleshooting this Alienware m16 than actually using it. Dell/Alienware’s support is beyond frustrating. Their go-to solution is making you reinstall Windows repeatedly, even when hardware diagnostics indicate failure. It’s just a tactic to get you off the phone. After numerous calls, chats, and emails, they finally replaced the motherboard and GPU. The replacement parts weren’t even quality tested — one had a non-functioning USB port, and the hard drive started failing too. Eventually, the Geek Squad store manager helped exchange it for a brand-new system. But the nightmare continued. The new laptop had the same issues. Dell still insisted on Windows reinstalls and minor tweaks before agreeing to replace the motherboard and GPU again. The replacement motherboard was filthy, with a faulty CPU, and now the fans failed diagnostics. Another motherboard replacement followed, this time with a broken touchpad connection. Every attempt at repair made things worse. Despite having an onsite service contract, Dell demanded a depot repair and flatly refused system exchanges or any higher-level assistance. After two months of this back-and-forth, Geek Squad suggested sending it to their depot. If it wasn’t fixed, I could exchange it. When I returned, the laptop still wasn’t fixed, and the BIOS now showed a different service tag with an expired warranty. At that point, the Geek Squad supervisor, Kevin, thankfully facilitated a return. I bought a different laptop, and though the GPU is a downgrade, at least it works. Dell’s "Advanced Resolution Services" managers are unhelpful, evasive, and quote policies they can’t even substantiate. After being a loyal Dell/Alienware customer for over 30 years — and even having worked for Dell — this experience was the final straw. Avoid the headache. Buy anything else. It will be better than this.

The only appealing thing about this laptop was the price. It seemed real buggy where it would ocassionally freeze and the software that controls the RGB lighting does not work or severely complicated and flawed. I went with the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i instead and Iam very happy.
