I spent a long time looking for a new laptop and tried out quite a few across different companies. The Alienware M16 R2 is a killer choice and fits what I was looking for! Some reviews talk about high RAM usage out of the box - which I experienced as well (>10GB / 16GB) I did a fresh wipe and installation of Windows and it dropped down to >5GB and have no problems with it whatsoever. Can get loud under load but it's way less than the other newest series laptops I tested

The salesman was very informative very knowledgeable. All I had to do is tell him a little bit about what I wanted and he knew exactly what to get me.

Works great! It runs fast, has lots of memory and you can personalize color of keyboard and screen to fit your personality.

does run hot but is a great piece so far. I would buy again for the price. No complains other than I wish it ran cooler.. But when you have lots of big hardware heats going to happen!

This laptop I purchased after my first one broke, this is the nicest laptop I've ever used and even seen, the visual and performance of this laptop is one of a kind. The silver look with a 4070 RTX GPU in a laptop is unmatched. Preforms and looks good I would recommend this over any laptop you will find.

I like it ! The only concern is you must have it plugged in at all times, in order for this lab top to work well, it because it doesn’t effectively run its best , without being plugged in to the wall . When playing a video game on it.

I have had several Alienware laptops and was wondering how the Core Ultra chip would handle gaming, it rocks! Yes, the fans are loud on performance mode but that’s what they are made to do and keep it cool, and it does. They added the Windows Hello feature to this model and it is built like a tank. This was a huge upgrade in my opinion from last years model, and I hope going forward they keep advancing this model, A++++

Bought an open box-good, good gaming laptop, fan noise was a little loud when gaming.

It works perfectly for what I need it to do. The resolution is amazing and no lag at all.

Is a very good and powerful laptop, the main problem i have is the screen is very dim (rated for 300 nit) and sometimes the laptop is limited by the cpu and ram configurations in modern titles. 100% recommended if on sale

The performance is immediately noticeable, especially with the graphics. I also enjoy how easy it is to setup was and how many features are in the Alienware command center. You can change fan speed to 5 different presets or make a custom one. Also, the display is gorgeous in my room. I highly recommend this laptop, 10/10 for me.

Does everything you need for a gaming laptop. Looking for something in the middle for price and specs this is a good choice

The speed is very good but there are little things that are annoying. The sound of the cooling fans are like being near Niagra Falls. At first it sounds nice but it gets so loud you can't concentrate. Cleaning this up and bios update was difficult.

I'm really enjoying this laptop. The gaming performance is outstanding. I can run most newer games at 1440p medium/high settings 60-80 fps. You can upgrade the ram and there's two SSD slots. The fit and finish is excellent. I have no overheating issues but I do run my fans at 100 percent. Purchased it on sale for 1,299.99

Great laptop, did not fit my specific needs, but an overall good computer all the same.
