The sound of the cooling fans are like being near Niagra Falls. At first it sounds nice but it gets so loud you can't concentrate. Cleaning this up and bios update was difficult.

The options on this laptop are top shelf. Everything works and i am very pleased. Best buy had it ready for me at the counter.

My only complaint is the battery life is subpar, but you would expect that in such a powerful laptop.

It is great and powerful. Only issue is that it is too good and might inspire him to game instead of do his assignments. On the serious side, it does get pretty loud when he is pushing the processing speed.

Great laptop for the price!

We added one of those cooling laptop fans on the bottom of the laptop and it definitely helped! I would recommend getting one of those if you get this laptop.
