Works for what I wanted!

For the games I have played so far being Marvel rivals, 6 Siege, schedule 1 and other steam indy games i have had absolutley no issues.

I would buy again for the price. No complains other than I wish it ran cooler.. But when you have lots of big hardware heats going to happen!

Loud and powerful!

Sounds like a jet taking off in high performance mode! Other than that, great entry level gaming laptop with decent battery life. Only gripe is that it comes with only 16gb ram. Need at least 32gb, but upgrade to 64gb for the best.

Amazing gaming laptop

I got a good amount of fps on high to ultra high around 100-160. It is lighter than most gaming laptops with similar specs. Battery life is about 4-6 hours

Great, but needs a little more power

Love this Alienware M16 R2 Laptop

The Alienware M16 R2 is a killer choice and fits what I was looking for! Some reviews talk about high RAM usage out of the box - which I experienced as well (>10GB / 16GB) I did a fresh wipe and installation of Windows and it dropped down to >5GB and have no problems with it whatsoever. Can get loud under load but it's way less than the other newest series laptops I tested

The only concern is you must have it plugged in at all times, in order for this lab top to work well, it because it doesn’t effectively run its best , without being plugged in to the wall . When playing a video game on it.
