This laptop has been absolutely wonderful, I have over 10 games downloading and over 20,000 mods and it still runs extremely smooth!

Good pc laptop but brightness of the screen needs improvement also speaker loudness. Im playing tempest rising and its running it max settings with ease.

I bought this 8 months ago and the battery is broken my computer wont turn on without the charger in it and theres constant red blinking im very disappointed in this product especially with how much money I spent on it

Great when it works, but the GPU fan has randomly stopped working several times now. A reboot seems to fix it, but there must be some issue why this is happening. Opened support ticket with Dell weeks ago, and they just ignore with no updates.. disappointing

I bought this as an all around laptop to game and travel with. The battery life is around 5 hours regularly when running in stealth mode turns off all RGB and quiets the fans way down. This is using default settings with minimal tinkering. The ease up upgrading storage, memory, and the wireless card was a major future proofing need for me. It’s a heavy device but will fit in a laptop bag. No issues with the keyboard/trackpad that I’ve noticed. The display is right in the middle of usability and refresh rate for my use case. Make no mistake, when not in stealth mode this laptop is a jet engine under load. The 4070 and ARC graphics easily allow me to game/work when needed. So far for the price I paid, I’m happy with my purchase.

I love my M16 r2! Make sure to upgrade the RAM to 96 GB, add at least a 4tb nvme in the additonal slot (and a $10 heat sink from Dell for it), and you will have a powerhouse like me that will last you quite a while. The only this has struggled for me was playing Xplane 11 with actual real time really bad weather on an external monitor at 4k while also using the laptop monitor. (Using a Dell dock with two 4k monitors and the laptop screen, xplane 11 runs great without real time bad weather.) I currently have several external drives through three daisy chained thunderbolt docks, running veracrypt on several drives on top OWC softraid through a linux vmware virtual machine, and this chews through it without a blink. This machine is a powerhouse, and it doesn’t even blink. By the way, if you use a dell dock, the power supplied is quite sufficient for normal use, but the battery will be gradually discharged during hard core gaming (100% to 75% in three hours of hard gaming). You can avoid any battey discharge by plugging in the laptop’s power cord as well, but I prefer plugging in only a single thunderbolt cable at home and only a single thunderbolt cable at work. Did I mention that I love my M16 r2 that I bought at Best Buy? It does everything I want and then some. Even the keyboard despite not being mechanical feels great, and coming from a MacBook, I was surprised how good the Dell touchpad actually is. Buy the M16 r2! It’s worth it, in my opinion.

Great for gaming, runs a little loud. The display is sharp and the refresh rate is responsive for gameplay. Intel core ultra 9 performs well, and the memory is ddr5 so its great for multitasking. runs hot so I recommend a laptop cooling pad.

Best Buy is awesome. FedEx SUCKS. Best Buy helped me when FedEx LOST my package. They made me wait at least 24-48 hours but then after that they returned that package and sent me the same thing to a new address and I got it within the week. My Alienware m18 is soooo worth dealing with that dumb company. (FedEx)

Great Laptop. Very speedy and light for it's size. It's sharp yet can be understated at the same time. It get's hot though, and don't expect a long gaming session on battery.
