Pros: Great gaming laptop, smooth, high quality, great FPS, and screen size is great. Cons: It basically needs to be plugged in every time if you want to play heavy loads, dies quickly.

This laptop is excellent and runs super smooth! I cannot complain about anything except paying an extra 300 dollars for a slightly bigger screen and 512gb. Overall it is a monster laptop!

The m17 Games great and works as a work/school/home computer fabulous. Downside is short battery life, VERY SHORT, and the casing is a little heavy but feels very durable.

This Alienware is my second Alienware laptop. Compared to my last laptop, this much thinner and much lighter than its predecessors. The 17” screen is beautiful and playing COD and Apex really looks crisp.

Good high powered computer. Graphics are good. Battery life doesn’t last long which is to be expected but I still wish it had a longer battery life. Great computer!!!!

Great running laptop. Handles graphics flawlessly. I run Flight Simulator 2020 with its intense graphics and continously get smooth transition. I highly recommend this laptop for both gaming and work.

Solid laptop with high quality video. It's definitely noisier than most laptops and puts out some decent ambient heat. Would recommend a cooling pad or an elevated surface to let air flow.

No windows hello, ram is soldered, the fans will never stop when the computers on. Buuuuuuut other than that my wife couldn't ever go back to Mac

I have had this laptop and bought it just over a month ago for gaming and work. It has outperformed my expectations at every turn. When gaming I set my settings at max across the board without issue. The only concern I have when using it for gaming is that it does generate substantial amounts of heat and the fans do run hard. The battery life on this is also very short so it must stay plugged in the majority of use. I'd definitely recommend as long as the expectation for having to stay close to a power source won't bother you.

I couldn’t ask for a better laptop. The laptop looks beautiful and runs smoothly. Can handle just about everything I throw at it.

Bought this to replace my sons previous 5 month old laptop that he spilled water and geek squad wanted 1200 dollars to replace a 750 cost laptop. Huge upgrade from what my sob had. He is using the laptop daily and absolutely loves it. It’s beautiful, quiet, not overly heavy being it’s a 17” laptop, fast, great quality. He wishes battery life is longer, but after buying multiple Msi gaming laptop in the past, we realized high quality gaming laptops battery wears down really fast because we couldn’t resist the temptation to set everything at the best quality for graphics and features, which all put a toll on the battery

Beautiful laptop, a little heavy for me to carry everyday. I opted for 15” vs 17”. Super fast, beautiful style. Lights were awesome.

Purchased this monster gaming laptop and was ecstatic! But after 2weeks it would not boot up.... I mean absolutely nothing. No lights, no prompts, nothing. Took it back to Best Buy and they were so helpful. Offered me whatever I wanted. I could choose a brand new one, get money back, or exchange for a different model. Folks, this could happen with any brand name... it has nothing to do with Alienware or Best Buy. I swapped it out for same identical model and have been happy ever since. This laptop is capable of playing Flight Sim 2020 at highest graphic settings with ease. I would definitely buy again.

Fit and finish are great. Keyboard lighting software was a bit glitchy but that seems to have stopped after I updated BIOS. This thing sounds like a jet plane taking off. If you arent a headset gamer id give this one a pass. The thermals get pretty darn high and I'm wondering if this is going to throttle performance. Considering I'm hitting 90 degrees playing EVE online which isn't particularly demanding. The way the airflow is set up a "cooling pad" isnt going to do much. This would get five stars if the thermals were more manageable.

Works great with my design software. No delays, speed is great and graphics re awesome!! Really powerful computer! Saves me time completing my designs!

Very fast and really nice computer. Just keep the charger with you at all times. You can drain the battery very fast. And buy a cooling pad to cool it down.

Had it for 2 years only and now it will not turn on. Did not get extended warranty because I could buy another laptop for the price of that. For what I paid, they should have backed parts for 2yesrs at lest. I got a cooling tray, two cooling tray but nothing keeps it cool. You can cook a egg on the 15 inch. Wish I had not gotten it. Don’t know who much it will cost to fix it and had it shipped.

Really impressed! Lightweight but feels sturdy. Handles games at high graphics setting with any issues and the 300 refresh rate is a plus.

Absolutely love this pc. Battery runs down quickly, but what can you expect from a machine that runs with such high quality! Graphics are sick!

I switched over from a Dell computer to Apple about 8 years ago. I never once thought about switching back until I started getting more into gaming. This is a great laptop and might even be convincing to not purchase a new MacBook. The fans are very loud at full speed but it keeps the laptop fairly cool when running games. I just wish it had its own operating system because I am still not a fan of windows 10.
