I purchased this for my daughter. She is a gamer. She was floored when she opened it. Now 4 months later, she still loves it.

Graphics on computer is sick meaning awesome!!! Good for gaming and college class assignments. Best investment I feel I made on a computer .

Great laptop but gets extremely hot when playing WoW or when doing multiple things at once. Other than that it’s great!

Very powerful device for gaming. Very fast and yields high frame rate. The drawback from my personal experience... Unfortunately the 240Watt AC adapter that came with the device stopped charging it. And on startup (after dying), a white screen appeared stating, "Alert! The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available. Please connect a Dell 240W AC adapter or greater for the best system performance. Note: This warning can be disabled in the BIOS setup." This is looking like either a multiple-day wait for the Geek Squad, a shipment to the manufacturer for a month, or a full-on "return and move on" kind of thing. Why does Dell sell the gaming laptop with a power cord wattage that may or may not support normal operation of the device?

So far so good. It’s fast & beautiful. It does what I need it to do. Added an extra SSD but it only had 1 M.2 SATA slot and one PCI-E M.2.

I own an open box unit of the 17M R3. When it runs it’s a solid machine but I have been experiencing a lot of bugs. It’ll randomly freeze or crash when browsing online and sometimes fails at launching discord. I have never had issues when gaming and it never runs hot. My unit is likely a quality control exemption. Screen is okay, it does bleed with blacks. Expect to have the M17 plugged into power battery life is mediocre.

Very well for it does, can be a little loud but it is expected. Some updates can take longer than expected.

Great laptop! It does run hot but never any serious issue. Fans are adjustable and plays all my online games at 300hz !

It took about 2 hours for the initial boot to complete...I had to have a lot of patience. Excellent graphics and gaming speed.

A few minor software bugs in the beginning with the Dell support software, but it's been great since.

I love this laptop. I am a very big gamer and this has everything and more than I need. Definitely recommend this one.

I loved the feeling of buying this laptop. As I walked around BestBuy I was happy lugging it around. As I walked over to the appliances and the Magnolia section, I couldn't justify a purchase that ends around 3k. A microwave and stove with a dishwasher is the same price, and a refrigerator and washer/dryer setup costs the same. Darn adulthood.... I had 45 days i could have played with but I returned this laptop before falling in love.... it hurt my heart and I will have one again.

Perfect gaming laptop, haven’t had a need to overclock it and have still being able to run every game in ultimate.

After years of buying low gaming laptops. I decided to see what Alienware is all about. After reading some reviews about how Dell had kind of mucked up. We Alienware brand. I found out that the revision 3 of this product has had its heat issues taken care of. I personally am enjoying this Awesome laptop. I was first concerned about the light colored shell, but I find it nice and I like the light blue coloring and the key is. Very easy on the eyes.
