Great laptop and runs smooth, however, had some troubles with the most recent windows update. Start menu and taskbar was not there and needed to factory reset the laptop. Would've been a perfect laptop if there were no technical issues

I Purchased this Open-box in Aug 12, 2023. I've been using it and have been impressed with how well it runs Overwatch and Sea of Thieves. I bought a Cooling pad to help it run smoothly and it's not been getting hot since then. Haven't tested the battery yet but I'm glad to have a gaming PC finally.

I am still learning the product but at this time it is a great product. The lighting effects, smooth transitions, and picture quality all are great. It feels sturdy made. The one thing that I have found would have made it better is to have a number pad on it.

Great gaming computer! Unfortunately, my battery overheated and i had to take it back to the store. They were great to replace it! The computer was fantastic with my new Diablo 4 game. Graphics were awesome!

Great gamer for the money. I did have to do a recovery after updating the laptop. For some reason the drivers didn't update properly. Re-did the update and everything has been great.

This is first time of purchasing Alienware laptop (Previous Desktop user). It is bit heavy 17 inch laptop, but I love the outer looks. I am not that heavy user. Overall, fan sound is not that loud, good for gaming, I am satisfy with this purchase, probably good use for several years.

I was looking for a newer model of my four year old 17 inch Alienware laptop. I found an open box model that was available at my local Best Buy. It looks and works like a brand new model. The speed is incredible. I have scored twice on open box Alienware laptops.

I got a certified excellent open box so didn’t pay full price. It’s a fast laptop and I like it except for the fact that after two weeks of owning it the keyboard stopped working. Thankfully I had the facial recognition option setup and was able to log in that way. Turned out that it’s a known issue and updating the BIOS fixed it for me after multiple restarts and shutdowns. Overall I’m ok with it but if I didn’t have the face login I would have been out of luck fixing it without bringing it somewhere.

I got this on an open box clearance deal and so glad I did. Normally I stray away from Alienware laptops because they are usually not the best bang for the buck, but the quality truly shines in this one. The screen is actually FHD 480hz. 1080p at 17" looks just as good as my larger 1440p desktop monitor. There are also expandable M.2 and SODIMM slots, unlike the BB listing shows. The mobile 3070 Ti is only ~5% slower than the new mobile 4070, so this laptop stands its ground with all modern titles. This is a perfectly viable laptop in Q3 2023, and I can see myself using it for at least the next few years.

Has been a fabulous computer until the motherboard, battery, and LCD have to be replaced, and it's not even 3 years old.

Good machine. Some teething issues in the first month, but eventually everything seemed to settle (Windows updates, driver updates, BIOS updates). It's very quiet and quick (although sometimes it runs the fans for five seconds which is quite loud - this is usually when it's chugging with some tough rendering). Also, decided to upgrade the RAM. Would be better to take this laptop with more RAM. I think 32GB is the sweet spot. Only con: even though it's a gaming laptop, it just doesn't compare to PC rigs, there are some current games that this would not be able to play (although this is somewhat true for like 90% of PC rigs too).

It is fast, loud, big, well built, heavy, runs hot, with low battery life. It is the perfect gaming laptop. If you can get this laptop for around $1300 it is a great buy. The cpu is between a intel 12th gen i9 and i7. The gpu is still decent and on par with the newer 4070. Easily game @ 2k over 100fps and @ 1080p you can easily get closer to 200+ fps. Mine came with a 480hz 1080p screen. The keyboard is nice. The RGB is decent. The web cam, mic, and audio out suck. Highly recomend an external dac or sound card. Temp wise it is what you would expect. I get up around 85-88c on the cpu on newer games. The gpu stays around a nice 68-71c on newer games. After 3 weeks I have had zero BSOD and the laptop can game 6-8 hours no problem. I would recomend a usb fan for the PSU brick. It gets alittle toasty after about 3 hours of gaming.

Amazing graphics, so many nice details! Quite large though

Computer is great. It is lightening fast and the security on this thing is awesome. It is strong enough to run my design simulators that my previous computer struggled with and then some. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a strong laptop.

This is my second Alienware, but it stays far cooler than my first one. As a matter of fact, this thing has never gotten hot yet. Love this thing! Looks like it's on clearance now and sold out so...maybe you won't be able to get it again.

Got this on sale for my dad, he loves to always be on his pc and so i got him this for work and he uses it all the time and is very satisfied with it, he plays games, watches videos and does work all on that laptop, would recommend

Love this machine. It's fast, awesome game machine. I take it with me all the time so I have a laptop to play games on like New World, Fallout 76, Phasmophobia, God of War, Generation Zero and many more.
