Phenomenal desktop replacement. Seeing as I am low on space at home this was a great option until I can find room for a PC down the line. It has been a bit problematic with windows, and I had to do a fresh install due to some driver errors with GPU updates, but once this was done, machine has run without issues. Fantastic screen, SUPER happy with the numpad, I hate the trend of removing them so thats awesome. Dosent get hot to the touch like other gaming laptops Ive used, overall very pleased. Couple of downsides: -Battery life sucks, you'll be using this on the charger ALWAYS -Dosen't like to hold on to color customizations unless you actively open the alienware command center, and even then sometimes I have to open it and force my color profiles back. -Opening it up to expand hard drive space is easy, but it sticks to the tried and true Dell build quiality where no matter how sure you are that you have sealed it, when you set it down clips will still snap and make you think something is broken. Excellent laptop, minor issues, 4-star is simply becuase I had to resinstall windows to fix reliability issues.

Got $850 in Best Buy gift cards from work as part of our rewards program after the discount sale at Best Buy and that only cost me $1k. Works great! Heavy as heck and battery life is not much, but it's a performance computer. More of a portable than a laptop, but it is exactly what I wanted. Nice expansion for drives two different SSD M.2 hook ups beyond the included drive. Included drive is a nice performer. RAM can go to 64Gig which is nice.

Bought an open box product. A little untidy with dust and loose charger plug. Product works good. No complaints, using it for the past 18 months

This laptop has the perfect screen size and power to keep up with my architectural renderings. Love the graphics, love the speed.

An insane piece of machinery. It runs every game at max settings while streaming at max settings. The only thing is that I have to be careful to always put it on top of surfaces with good airflow or it will heat up. I bought the open box option and it came with a couple scratches, I did not like that at all.

It is a very powerful gaming machine. It’s my first gaming laptop and I’m surprised how loud and hot it gets. Lost one star for me because of that.

Love the new machine, even got a price match after the price dropped a bit more before cyber monday sale was over. The only soft complaint I'd have is the weight.

Nice size for gaming but very heavy not very portable also had issues from beginning fans were bad replaced them.

Great laptop. Fast and ready. The one downfall are the speakers as they do get distorted during some gameplay and music. That’s a bummer or this could have been 5 stars

Performance is good, but within second week of owning had to send for repair. They had to replace motherboard due to blue screen error and overheating. After that no issues. But cant recommend due to not first alienware Ive owned with this issue

Excellent value! Served me perfectly for the time I needed it for. Works AMAZING. Will run 400 fps on decent games, enough RAM for practically anything. Battery life could be much better, only lasting maybe 2 hours running games

Very fast and great graphics. Heavy, but that’s what u get with a huge screen.

This laptop has been probably one the most powerful I've used with solid performance and good graphics for being a laptop. I can play about every game about high or above depending on how new or how much performance it needs.

An overall great gaming laptop. Speed is great and monitor has an excellent view the 18 inch screen is the way to go looks awesome…

Good and fast laptop, I liked the bigger sized screen for a laptop BUT when playing with a mouse ur hand right next to it with out the laptop being elevated it does tend to “burn” your hand. I guess this might not happen if it’s elevated and has better airflow. It is quite heavy so playing on your lap and isn’t really idea must have a table and something to move the hot air away

I bought 2 of these a couple of months apart: 1 in store and 1 online. 1 of them was great, no issues whatsoever. The other had a subpar wifi card that I replaced. Also, both don't play nice with fast typing in MS Office products. It's a fantastic gaming computer, but it's not a web browsing or office productivity machine. (Fortunately, I wanted them for gaming machines and have been very happy with that performance!)

It’s a great gaming laptop. It runs perfect and the screen is the perfect size.
