This is one amazing keyboard. It features TRUE BACKLIT keys - not just surrounding areas - it looks amazing in the darkness where you can read every key clearly. Groups of keys are configurable with different colors thanks to the Alienware software. This key is a true keyboard - not some niblet imitation keys with no tactile travel to them; this reminds me of those classic IBM keyboards from the early 1980's where there is weight and travel to the keys - this keyboard is well made and has real weight to it - it feels solid. Keyboard case also features alienware lighting on the sides and in the front to add more character to it. If you like the feel of a classic keyboard and don't mind that it does make sounds when you press keys (mechanical sounds), then this is one serious board.

I have to say, when I first saw this keyboard in store I was immediately taken in by the look. I started typing with it and loved the switches as well. I love keyboards with a clicky feel to it. I love the sound scroll bar and the fact the even the bottom of the keyboard is back lit so it looks amazing in the dark. I feel like most keyboards only have the keys back lit. Being able to program the colors you want is a huge plus for me too. Super happy with this purchase.

As others have said, I wasn't sure if I'd like the MX Browns since I'm used to MX Blues but it turns out these are great. I'm actually finding myself typing surprisingly faster with these compared to my old Code keyboard. My only complaint is the lighting. At high intensities, I can see the flicker in the LED and haven't seen that before on any other backlit keyboard. But when you turn down the brightness, you can no longer see the ambient lighting around the edges of the keyboard. That's the other complaint, there's seemingly no way to decouple the two. Otherwise, good keyboard, great feel, decent software.

Going from a mushy keyboard to something with weight, subtle resistance, and quality is pretty amazing. The keys are responsive, and there's a gentle ramp to help your hands rest. GREAT build quality and the ability to turn the RGB lights low, or even off. Love it.

thought it looked really cool but was skeptical because ive heard mixed reviews on the alienware products but i decided to pick it up and this is the greatest keyboard ive ever used i am officially a huge fan of the MX Brown keys they use and the lighting is perfect and its surprisingly cheaper than all the competitors would and will recommend

Great product, I was skeptical on the MX browns but shockingly fell in love with them. Love he customizable RGB lighting. Cant wait till my local store receives the mice so I can pick one up as well.

I feel like it’s just okay it doesn’t always connect to my Alienware pc or laptop with Alienware fx but I do like the feel of the keyboard and I really don’t care about all the extra useless keys I guess it could be useful for something idk what though also it’s massive in size which I don’t care for either

So I bought this keyboard about a year and a half ago. The biggest problem is that the left foot of the keyboard has completely broke I had to superglue it! And it gets super dirty! Pain in the but to keep clean bcuz of the open shell design! Really frustrating! Tbh I don’t recommend to anyone.it goes up at a slope and makes it difficult to type in for long periods of time gameing is ok just sometimes hard to press the right buttons bcuz keys are big and spaced out!

I purchased the Aurora with 1080, not cheap, yet it came with the most basic of basic keyboards, yet Alienware has the audacity to sell what should of came with the desktop. I also purchased an Asus ROG gaming desktop system and it came with a far superior keyboard than Alienware's system. I have no doubt this is a good keyboard , but come one MX browns? Brown MX are clunkier than Cherry Red and have a weird tactile feel, look anywhere and you will see people prefer Red for gaming as they are faster, smoother on the stroke and not to mention last longer.

We bought 2 of this. First one had to be returned because it stopped working in a day (its working now but with basic functions only). Second: can not be personalized, command center doesn't see it. Support is non fluent English speaker (outside of US) and could not offer any help.
