I got this laptop to use while going on a vacation. I needed something for gaming and light business work. Very fast and well built. Lightweight and thin to bring out quickly. Runs WZ2.0 at about 95 FPS on low settings. Works great for me. Price was right on clearance.

This is a great machine as long as you remove most of the Dell and Alienware applications. I used this machine for a year stock and when I uninstalled them I gained a huge performance boost. The only other complaint I have is the jet engine inside of it. Thankfully I game with headsets and don't hear it.

Amazing! Use it for school and moderate gaming. Runs every game I play (warzone, valorant, dark and darker) at at least 100fps. Ultra thin and portable for college. Battery life is sufficient. The fan noise can be loud but as most people game at home, its nothing crazy and it keeps the laptop mainly under 80°. I got the open box and am very happy. Screen is also great and honestly doesnt feel like youre playing on a small laptop. Amazing so far!

The CPU has good performance and has even more cores (14 vs 10) than the new R2. I got mine on black friday for sale so it was definitely worth it. The screen is nice and battery life is good. Overall build quality is excellent. My only negatives is that the speaker system isn’t great and it has a weaker 75w 3060.

The laptop is pretty and sleek. The laptop gpu is capped at 75w. Decent gaming performance. The screen was good and the typing was easy. The trackpad is small. The ports are located in back. My flash drives and mouse usb receiver were not able to fit properly. Also the edges are sharp and it felt uneasy to type. Hence returned it.

Can’t beat the form factor. Playing games like WoW and Apex are dreamy on the x14. No performance hiccups or high temperature issues. The only con is the fan can have a high pitch when pushing the pc hard. With that said, the different performance modes can help with this. Love this PC.

The x14 is a great size and has a very solid build quality. The keyboard feels nice to type on, has a nice trackpad, and a decent screen. The only cons are the premium price tag and the loud fans.

Build quality is very good. Has enough power in a small package for work and for gaming. The only issue is that it really ramps up when it's stressed with games and is a little loud, headphones fix this problem. Other than that it's quiet and cool.

Had this for about a month now. Super portable, light and feels extremely sturdy. Plays anything I throw at it well. Diablo 4, GW2, WoW. I love how light and portable this laptop is. Temps do get hot when gaming but that’s to be expected with a laptop of this size.

This laptop does not disappoint. The size of it a great for travel and the graphics are great. The colors through the keyboard and the green alien on the cover bring a touch of ambience. Im very happy with this product. Definitely recommend.

First and foremost I bough this open box so the value is absolutely incredible given it was a little over $1k. With that being said $1500 is reasonably fair. it’s also worth noting up front, the small package of this does mean less performance that a 15” gaming laptop. The 3060 runs at its highest 77 watts but typically it is around 50-60. Intel CPUs while fast will hit 90-100c if the game demands it. Not all games do and it will run between 60-80c. Alienware laptops feature a power offset for the CPU in the bios if you want to throttle it back to keep temps low. I personally just limit the frame rate or turn off turbo. It drops temps to 60-70 easy. I upgraded the hard drive and while I was in there, did a repaste with corsair. The CPU does indeed have “Element31”. The GPU is standard paste. I also removed some of the covering on vents on the top (keyboard side) while the motherboard was out to enhance cooling. This seems to have helped. The fans don’t kick in until close to 70c I believe but, idle temps or in low power gaming I’m seeing 44-59c without fans on. Actual performance? Well it’s surprising great even if you don’t do any of what I did. Expect to play games at max settings but at potentially lower frame rates I.e. 80-90fps compared to 120fps for some with adjusting setting. That is still stellar and with the 14” 1080p screen if you’re using DLSS/FSR or AA you can use a higher performance setting over quality because it’s hard to tell the difference compared to a bigger screen. I mainly wanted this for having something portable and can handle both games and work. This is truly a premium feeling, solid laptop, equipped for the full task at hand. This is built with excellent quality and its a beautiful laptop. It’s also notably lighter than the x15. The only room I would say it needs improvement with is battery life and clarity in the Alienware app for managing performance. It’s advertised with the largest battery in its class (80wh) which is great. But on the highest possible battery savings you’re looking at 4-6 hours normal use. That’s decent for a gaming laptop I just expected better as Dells Xps or other brands of laptops get much better battery life at the same size battery. A 90wh Asus advantage got close to 10 hours. It’s only a 10wh difference and this thing gets smoked. The Alienware app is a little confusing when it comes to changing performance profiles. They really need to simplify it with say 4 obvious buttons on the main page, no tabs. It also doesn’t make it clear what performance mode you’re in so sometimes you just don’t know. YouTube reviews have also pointed out it really doesn’t matter what mode you’re in, performance is almost the same. So maybe who cares? The laptop also initially acted somewhat strange when I got it. Dells update app wanted .net and it downloaded, installed it, and it was still broken. After installing the new hard drive and windows everything is fine at this point. I still recommend this if you want to just buy a gaming computer you want to turn on and play. If you want ultimate portability with no gimmicks on gaming performance this is the laptop for you. If you expect top shelf frame rates as bigger laptops because of the name on the computer, pick a bigger computer.

Is a smooth gaming laptop, with great quality graphics, just buy a fan with it it does get hot after ahile of gaming. The battery life si about 2 hours if you ru n everything on hi performance though

Fast computer for general use and no lag playing games. excellent surround sound even when watching a movie. Only issue is that it heats up really fast even when not gaming.
