Rare 3D US release. It gets 5 stars just for that. Movie itself, I don't think, has broad appeal, but it's entertaining enough. 4K transfer is very competent. The details really pop, but it does create lager disconnect between cgi and live action sequence because of detail disparity. 3D looks pretty good. Cameron obviously cares about 3D format. He know how to use it effectively.

The effects in this movie are great! Go buy a copy!

Great flick, 3D looks AMAZING, and so does 4k. James Cameron (writer) is big on doing 3D correctly - filming in 3D where possible with 3D cameras - not filming in 2D then converting to 3D post production. Converting 2D to 3D, which is most of what our market is saturated with, yields shotty 3D, which I think is part of why 3D is mostly phased out. Robert Rodriguez has directed one of his best.

I like a good action movie with a women as the hero!

The beginning of the movie feels a bit odd, but about 10 minutes in, it becomes this wild, great, sci-fi adventure movie, right up there with The Fifth Element. The movie has outstanding visuals and action, and a very good storyline. Aside from one F-bomb, the movie is good for pre-teens, especially pre-teen girls due to its female hero figure. We've watched it multiple times.

Interesting twist on androids of the future. I really enjoyed this movie. Alita is on a journey to discover who she is. The unfolding of her past is well-paced and enjoyable. Plenty of action to keep you on the edge of your seat with a valid story to help you connect with the characters. 3D didn't make me nauseous. It was well implemented.

This is an excellent package containing the 4K Blu-ray along with the 3D and regular Blu-Ray. 3-D effects are well done and add to the entertainment of the movie. Some may be put off by the look of the lead character but she quickly becomes 'natural' after the first 10 minutes or so. Story follows the original Manga quite closely at times, it's clear the filmmakers had respect for the original source.

This movie has so much wow in it and great pacing. Great actors involved in here as well. The SFX are Avatar-quality, no surprise there. Despite what others might think I actually enjoyed the plot line and how everything was connected to the other by the end of the movie. Speaking of, I am really hoping we get a sequel and soon because we need to finally see what Zalem looks like!

There’s very few Steelbooks that I call a MUST OWN. This is one of them. First of all I think this film is underrated. It actually takes time to built the world it’s presenting. The main lead is fantastic and makes us cheer for and connect with her. Solid acting all around. The film looks and sounds incredible in 4K. The art work for the Steelbook is amazing and I couldn’t of asked for something better.

I bought this as a gift for my brother. He was so excited, said he had been looking for it and couldn't find it. Wanted it for his movie collection, as he watched it a few years ago. I knew I could usually find just about everything at Best Buy plus great price.
