Great special effects and artwork and design. That was the reason why I was interested in purchasing. Started out good but didn’t like the way the movie ended. As far as the 4K quality of the DVD it’s great.

Thought this was a rise-up-against-the-oppressors movie, but where the movie ends (and it just peters out, as if the screenwriter ran out of ideas), it's really about the protagonist pursuing her selfish dream of sports fame and glory.

Truly enjoyed the movie but was not worth buying it additionally in the 3D Version. If this is your 1st Alita purchase 4K is great.

This was a crazy weird movie that was a one time watch. The graphics weren't bad, but could have been better.

Not a good movie with the changes made from the manga. Lots of potential though. Hopefully we get another one. 3D is nice.

Not greatest movie lots of blood and gore in it and didn't follow story .

Brand new 4k UHD disc, straight from the package and having trouble viewing bar fight scene just after 1 hour mark. Setup consists of Panasonic UB820, Yamaha TSR-700, and Sony AH8. Had to skip the whole scene, everything worked fine after.

This movie sucked! It wasn't good! It didn't look either! The story was ok, but no action, that's what I like! The acting was great though! That's about it!

About the Movie: My first time seeing Alita was in IMAX 3D, and I didn't want to leave the theater after total immersion in an amazing world with an inspiring heroine full of heart, joy, and determination to "not stand by in the presence of evil!" The movie is groundbreaking in that the protagonist we follow is completely computer generated in a world that looks and feels real. Rosa Salazar's heartfelt performance as Alita shines through the artistry and special effect wizardry of nearly every scene. The story brought me to tears several times with its completely relatable humanity. The action scenes in 3D were more spectacular than any other I've seen. The fight choreography and cinematography were fluid and incredible to follow. The soundtrack perfectly complements the emotions and stakes in each scene. Altogether, this movie was the greatest experience I've ever had in a theater, and I brought it home on July 23 to enjoy many times with family and friends as the best and most rewatchable movie I have ever seen! After giddily popping it into my PS3 with a 3D movie projector and a 100" screen, Alita became my greatest home theater experience 5 long months after my greatest IMAX 3D experience. About the Steelbook: I love the matte finish and how light reflects off the gold in Alita's hand. It was definitely worth the extra $5 over a comparable 4K package with 3D. There are 3 Blu-Ray disks and a digital code, but no DVD in this package. It's great that 3D comes with the Alita 4K package in the U.S., since most recent movies only release 3D internationally. With enough support for Alita in 3D, there could be a new resurgence in 3D home theater sales. Thanks Best Buy for making this excellent package for my favorite movie of all time!

Not a great movie poor attempt at Anime live action

Very bad movie, also the quality of animation/action sequences is not good. 3D is very bad

A beautiful symphony of the performance capture, 2D, 3D, lighting, movement, effects & story. James Cameron says that the movie lives or dies in the close-up and the believability of that character and your emotional connection to them. I am a big fan of all that Robert Rodriguez has done with Cameron to bring this to the screen in such a beautiful way. Highly recommended!!!

This movie has it all. Love, SI-Fi great special effects .This is a master peace for the ages Might be a little strong for young kids but for the older kids this is great. I thought best in years. But I am me and you are you.

YES! Thank you Best Buy for carrying the 3D version! I don't have to order it off Amazon.uk. Please keep offering the 3d versions, at least a few copies on release at each store. Try to get all the 3d Versions since I have an amazing 65in 3D OLED that I also bought at BestBuy, recently tried Shazam in-store bit the only BB that had teh 3d in the store was over 50 miles away,

This movie was amazingly good but didn't get the recognition it deserves! The main character was very likeable! I highly recommend this movie! Hopefully they continue this story and release a sequel.

Totally agree with Jeffrey L. The prequel of 99's previous life would be an amazing backstory and the sequel to this story can continue as a great saga.

I would love to see a sequel to the movie. Well made
