The visual effects of this movie are fantastic from beginning to end another great Cameron production and the dvd package includes a 3d dvd

The movie itself is fun to watch but not the greatest. The steelbook has great artwork on it and is worth the purchase for collectors.

One of my favorite Steelbooks, even though the back lacks artwork. If you, like me, are not into anime, the movie itself is still enjoyable.

Pleasantly surprised how much I liked this movie. Visually amazing cgi was just so advanced I can only imagine what they will do next.

So sad about this film! The production was amazing! I loved the 3-D work here start to finish. The telling of the story was another matter. It was as if they ran out of time and just quit mid story. Plus as a grandfather I was thinking this would be excellent for my 8 year old grand-daughter and then right at a climatic point they had to toss in an “F Bomb” which then led to the rushed finished which ruined the entire event for me.

I've watched this with my son a couple times and he loves it. I thought I wouldn't like it, but was pleasantly surprised. Good story line!

Ive seen people say this movie is some underrated masterpiece, and no, not really. Its fun and they got the right actors in place to do a good hob with the material. Movie is 4 out of 5, phyical package is 2/5.

As for the 4K it’s looks great on my 65”. The story is good and it has a cliff hanger for an ending leaving you with a story for a part 2.

Great Soundtrack! Awesome special effects! Includes 3D + 4K + Blu-Ray It was made with a sequel in mind - hopefully there will be one.

This film is highly underrated the special effects are beyond measure and the 3-D is some of the best when it comes to 3-D movie viewing.

Good flick. Doesn't re-invent the wheel or anything, but I was entertained throughout. A/V presentations in 4k (& 3-D) are stellar.

Robert Rodriguez can use tech with a clear vision of character and story. He makes this particular film come to life in a very unique way

Not sure if there is much difference between 4K and BluRay but we opted for the 4K anyway. Not a blockbuster but a decent flick overall.

Interesting plot. Very good picture quality on the UHD version of the movie. Need a home theater to enjoy the excellent sound quality.

Not only was this film better than expected but the A/V on the 4K disc is fantastic. A little pricey at $29.99 but a good purchase.

Labor of love for James Cameron, who's wanted to adapt this anime for years. Well done storyline, good characterization, enjoyable.

My son loves this movie saw it in theaters and just had to have it. Added bonus of digital copy allows us to take it on the road!

I was not familiar with the Manga character the movie was based on. Still a good story line, and the robotic action was inventive .

Overall this is a movie for everyone, you don't have to be into sci-fi as it explores the human side with some adventure thrown in.

Really good movie. Very imaginative with great special effects. There will be a sequal to this movie. I'm looking forward to that.
