I purchased this movie for the 3D effect, and I also enjoyed the movie very much. This is one of the best 3D movies that I've seen, but I do not recommed for little kids because of the violence. The plot starts out quite interesting, but it becomes less intersting toward the end. 3D alone is worth the purchase at the discounted price, however.

Very good special effects and overall good movie. I hope they make a sequel.

Video quality is outstanding, the story is interesting with a deep background and well drawn characters, and the pacing of the movie is excellent. The only catch is that this is the first part of Alita's story. I've read the director was planning a trilogy. There is a petition you can sign to urge production of the sequels. You can find it by searching on the terms: Alita sequel petition. This story deserves to be told in full.
