If you’re a dog lover you’ll love this movie a lot

If you liked Dances with Wolves, you'll love Alpha - maybe. It's a good coming of age story about fear, trust, and loyalty. But be warned, if you tend to fall asleep during quiet movies, you are likely to catch some Zzzz here.

Can't believe I didn't go to the theater and saw it. It has some action and lots of drama. It's like national geographic shot this film and a good story line. If your a a animal love , specially dogs this film won't disappoint. It will also make you appreciate the bond that can be built between man and beast. So if you like animals, thumbs up, if you could care less for them, I hope it gives you an idea why people love their pets so much. one thing it's all subtitles but it still didn't ruin or bug me at all.

One of my nephews saw this movie at a friend's house through one of the extended channels (HBO, Starz, Showtime, etc). His younger brother wanted to watch it and I found it here, at BestBuy.com. Best Buy has movies at competitive prices AND most of their movies include digital copies as well! This movie shipped out and arrived within a few days.

The Blu-ray provided excellent picture and sound quality. I don't usually enjoy prehistoric films but this one is an exception. A young man on a hunt with his tribe becomes injured and is left for dead. He survives and is attacked by a pack of wolves. He wounds one of the wolves and the pack leaves it for dead. The young man saves the wolf and they become friends. Their journey back to his tribe is full of adventure and well worth watching.

I enjoyed this movie and I recommend that others watch it. It’s about a young man becoming a man at a time when he thinks he’s all alone.

The film is very inspirational of being separated at a hunt with his father. He get separated at the hunt where he is presumed dead. He is in the wilderness by himself and tries to get back home. He is injured and while trying to get home meets an injured wolf in a cave. He tries to get friendly with the wolf and tries to heal the injured wolf. How to two depend on each other to survive. One of the beat films of survival.

Good Price So I Purchased Unknowing Of Storyline. Usually I purchase DVD instead of blue ray due to equipment compatibility

Alpha is a captivating story about a prehistoric boy and a wolf, each separated from their respective groups, trying to make it home. Their relationship is begrudging at first, but they earn each other's trust and respect as the time they spend together progresses. Even without the use modern language, this story is easy to follow, and becomes more gripping throughout the movie. Highly recommended!

While cinematography was great, overall I was very disappointed. Weak story. Iron Will or White Fang would be better.
