Set in the last Ice Age, this is a story about a boy and a wolf who, out of necessity, help each other survive in the wilderness when they are each separated from their tribe and pack. The story is inspirational and very well done. It has subtitles, but they are not distracting enough to detract from a captivating story. And this movie can be watched by the whole family!!

I really enjoyed this movie, but I’m a mom and I multitask a lot so the subtitles weren’t the best for me.

Makes you appreciate being able to have electricity. However, the story was slow and very drawn out.

This is a really good movie. Good for kids who are a little older but also good for adults. Trust me you won’t have to be worried about watching this one over and over again with your children. This one might take a while before it actually starts grinding on your nerves. Great storyline too and well played out

Great film and I think it was under-rated. Lots of scenery and acting by a single person and an animal. The disc is clean, the audio clear. I saw this film at the theater and liked it, so I bought the disc. I like that it included the digital, but disappointed that it didn't have a dvd included.

I got it at Best Buy because they've been putting Blue Ray on sale sooner than most other stores. If you want to know about the movie well it was good enough for me to want a personal copy for myself. It was apretty good fiction about how man became friend of dog or it was about the way of the ancestors take your pick.

one time movie to watch, will I watch it again ,yes I think so but not right away

this movie had no words to it. If you can stand that then you should watch it.

I really like this period realistic movie. I don't like movies with subtitles but it made it more realistic for the period a time when American English was not likely to exist. The story is great for all dog lovers. Not sure how it would be liked by general audience.

I love dogs and I love scenery so I figured this movie would be right up my alley. I was right. I was captivated from start to finish. The teenager and wolf's growing relationship was fascinating to watch. I am so glad I ran across this movie and decided to get it.

Its a good action adventure movie. Worth watching.

The movie was very good goes right to the point good

I wasn't sure what to expect as this movie was not in theatres very long. I went ahead and purchased it because I had seen the previews and was intrigued. This is an interesting look at what the beginning of the first man and wolf relationship would have been like.

This is a fictionalized hypothesis of how man and man's best friend met in prehistoric times. I found it believable and moving. It's hard to believe that my three little dogs are descendants of wolves, but not so much after seeing this movie.
