This little speaker was great! It had a nice big sound for how little it was. I use past tense here because it finally met its end after a few years… But I was pretty rough on this thing! I had it sitting in the shower with me and it had so much bass it would slide off and smack onto the shower floor. But time and time again I would just pop the front grating back on and it would keep chugging. I think it just had a few too many drops and maybe got a little too wet and pooped out on me. Great speaker for the price though!

Music has always been a HUGE part of my life. I am one of those crazy ladies you would see belting out a tune in the car while stopped at a light. I sing as if I am standing before a crowd of thousands, even if I am the only one in the car. With the advancement of technology today, it has come a long way since my Walkman days in the 80’s and I absolutely love it! I love that this tiny power speaker is small enough to carry in my pocket, but loud enough to allow an entire room of people to enjoy the sound.

Neat little speaker gives out a really loud and full sound. Connects very easily via bluetooth. Controls for On/off/pause - Volume up - Volume down have very tactile feel and easy to press. Volume up/down when held will advance to next track or go back to beginning of current track if you are playing music or audiobook. Charges quickly (via microUSB cable into socket behind rubber door on bottom of speaker) and lasts a long time. Waterproof feature is great for listening to music in the shower! Would recommend for small damp spaces like a bathroom, was pleasantly surprised at audio clarity for private listening at low volume.

I needed a replacement for my old HMDX Jam, which suffered damage to it's micro USB port to the point I couldn't charge it anymore and found this. Much to my surprise when I powered it on the first time, it sounded like a pair of wireless headphones I used, and I was blown away by the sound when I paired it to my phone and turned it up. The bass also took me by surprise. It even vibrated enough for it to 'dance' off a table and fell to my hardwood floor, which it took without issue. The water proof/resistant factor was a bonus as I enjoyed having this in my shower. I would definitely buy it again.

I received this speaker just over a week ago and have floated it down the river and clipped it on my backpack during the Kids Adventure Games and while mountain biking. It appears to be as everything proof as advertised. It is super tough, has powerful sound and great battery life all packed into a small, slick package. It is now our go-to sound for anything we are doing outdoors.

I didn't know what to expect as far as the sound coming from such a compact speaker, but let me tell you - it ROCKS! I've had my Altec Lansing Baby Boom XL for a couple of weeks now and use it almost every day. I use it most often in my workshop but did take it hiking a few times and it did not disappoint. It's easy to connect to your phone or other Bluetooth device and it's even waterproof. No complaints about this speaker - everything I need and more!

When I saw the Altec BabyBoom XL, I was very smitten with this cute little gadget!  Perfect for on the go whether you are working.traveling or just hanging out at the beach. And don’t let the size of this “baby” fool you. It has an incredible, high quality sound. It has great balance and clarity. If you need a more amplified sound you can pair two Baby Boom XL’s together via True Wireless Pairing and receive double the volume!  It includes a carabinerclip which is nice for clipping on a backpack or diaper bag. You won't regret purchasing this, I love mine!!

I was so pleased that I chose this Altec-Lansing Bluetooth speaker. With excellent sound and perfect size, this speaker supplies the music I want to hear virtually anywhere I go! Water resistant and having a long battery life, I would recommend this speaker to anyone on the go!

This is a great little speaker! It is cheap - $29.99 cheap - but it really sounds pretty good. The speaker is small - perhaps 4" long, and very light weight, but it puts out an impressive sound. The bass is acceptable for me, and is actually better than I expected considering how light weight the speaker is. If you want a lot of bass, you simply need to spend more money and buy a bigger speaker. If you want some basic nice sounding tunes that you can clip to your backpack with the included carabiner, or to keep in the garage or keep in the bathroom to keep you company while you brush your teeth, this little speaker rocks. The Bluetooth connects effortlessly to my iPhone. Altec Lansing hit a home run with this very entry level Bluetooth speaker. Kudos to them.

This little speaker paired with my phone without issue and has worked flawlessly since I purchased it. It has amazing sound for its size and is great for having around the yard when outside doing chores. It maintains connectivity with the paired device over distances where other devices fail. It recharges quickly and lasts a long time on a charge. The only downside is when first powered-up it plays at full volume, however this could be my cheap phone, so I won't fault Altec Lansing. I look forward to getting another one soon so I can pair them for stereo.

I love the Baby Boom XL because it is SO simple to use and to pair with my phone. My 10 year old actually set it up! The sound is great and I love that we can take it anywhere. It is also durable, so if it gets accidentally dropped, it should still be ok. This is going on my list for a graduation gift!

It's loud, light, decently balance, and can take a beating. I used this when in the kitchen at my job and it's a great guy to just jam out.

Great speaker that has a great sounds. It is portable and can be taken anywhere. It is waterproof, has a long listening time, and good wireless range.

Have had for a Couple of years now and still works great. Battery life is good for the size and sound is good for the size

Nice small speaker. Easy to take with you. Built well. Sounds good. Good volumne too. Simple controls and easy to connect. Don't know why it is called an "XL"?

This a great accessory for Zoom and other conference calls! So easy to use and lots of great sound in a small compact speaker. I was skeptical before I got it thinking that it couldn't be as good as a more expensive brand, but glad to say I was wrong. The range is great and there are no complicated processes only 3 buttons on/off button, + to increase volume and - to decrease volume. Just speak if you are using it for video calls. It's a great device for those who need something portable but inexpensive

Big sound for the size! We've been using it so much because it's waterproof, so we use it in the pool, lake, beach and in all our outdoor adventures!

This has become my go-to bluetooth speaker because it is loud, has decent sound for its size, light weight and small.

This little Baby Boom XL was a HUGE surprise !! I knew it was small but when I linked it up with my I-phone the sound that came out of it was HUGE!! It is not a cheesy little speaker even though it doesn't cost a lot it gives you great sound! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great sound and doesn't want to carry around a big speaker...you can literally hang it off your belt and hardly know it's there! You'll love it...I promise!
