Great Bluetooth speaker. Wouldn't recommend anything else for the price of this! I love all of its features it has.

First time at the beach with the Boom 2. Had the JBL charge 2 side by side, Boom 2 was louder and better sounding, no comparison. Battery lasted over 10 hrs(2-5hr days), playing almost full volume. Reliablity to be determined but for now very happy with purchase. Sound still not Bose quality but Bose are not made for the beach environment. So 4 stars it is.

Use it for work. Drop it almost daily and it gets rained on a whole lot too. Still works like new. It’s worth it.

This waterproof little portable speaker has GREAT sound! can connect from a good distance so I can still use my phone from across the room. You could hear it all around the pool party. Didn't have to worry about rain. It's very easy to connect different devices and navigate through the buttons.

Awesome sound and so easy to use! Works great even in extreme cold. I work in a freezer warehouse and NO ISSUES!

The sound quality is amazing, even when in and around water. It holds charge forever and doesn’t take long to recharge. The charger acts as a portable charger, extremely well, it charges quickly and can give an iPhone a full charge with energy left over.

not very loud, when you do turn it up it sounds muddled and tinny, it sound good when the music is low key., the wall mount is more for a permanent attachment..rugged construction, i have not tried to run down the charge, no idea how long a full charge lasts, it did take several hours to reach a full charge, its not a bad speaker, just not a great one...probably sound good with two, but kinda pricey, but i would not buy again though

Had just acquired an audible book for our family to listen to during a long, 8-hour drive to NC this past holiday weekend. While en route we realized that with full blast air conditioning and the background high speed noise, there was NO way to do this by using the iphone's inadequate speaker - - and our car was not bluetooth enabled. We exited the interstate, found the nearest Best Buy, and purchased this device. Literally within 20 minutes we were back on the interstate listening to our fabulous book in hi fidelity sound and at a volume that worked really easy, especially given all the constraints. . . and tho we were a bit hesitant about the "rubberish" look and composition of the speaker case, surprisingly, it's so sturdy and worked quite well in terms of sitting up on our dash without slipping and sliding as were 'easing on down the road' - Life doesn't get much better than that!! Since then have using it all over the house and absolutely love this device. Wish we had thought to get this a long time ago!

I bought 2 different kinds and I'm returning the other one. I compared the sounds and this one won!

This little speaker puts out big sound. And it really does float. Yesterday at the pool party we tried it and it really is waterproof and was a fun addition to our day. And it had plenty of volume playing music from my phone via Bluetooth. My phone was a good 20 foot away, too!

This speaker has been in my gadgets since I saw it. There is no better way to have music in a trip

I was going to purchase another brand and then the sales rep suggested I look at this model, showing me the water and dust ratings, and listening to the sound. Especially liked the ability to pair speaker and create (EASILY!!) a true stereo right/left channel sound. I have two of these speakers.

I was a bit leary on what the sound was going to be like on this little thing. It was amazing. It packs a great punch for such a little speaker. I hook it to my paddle board and we go. I’ve dropped it in the water and it’s gotten covered in sand and it still works great.

This is a really good speaker, the sound is outstanding and the level the volume reaches is perfect. We love loud. However, it does not have a clip or a strap to easily carry or attach to something. We do a lot of hiking, rafting and tubing etc. Being able to secure it to something would be nice. It Is heavy so at least we know it won't blow away, lol

We have really enjoyed the Boom Jacket 2. It has worked great at the beach and pool. It's battery life is also wonderful! It can charge your iPhone while the phone is streaming music to the Boom Jacket so you never have to worry about losing your music while spending a day at the beach.

Bought this as a gift for a friend that is a woodworker. They had other speakers that would not last long to all the dust in the workshop. The speaker is covered in sawdust but keeps on playing. Good sound for the size and easy to hook up with Bluetooth devices.

I did purchase the altec lansing - Boom Jacket li lmw579 Portable Bluetooth Speaker as a gift for my significant other. He seems to be very happy with his gift!! We both really enjoy the sound quality...and we will get to try out the waterproofness (smiling) when we head out on vacation.

Sound is phenomenal on this speaker and it does not get drowned out when at maximum volume.

I purchased this because it was on sale and am not sorry I did. It has great sound and large speaker output. It was easy to connect to Bluetooth and plays a long way away from the music source. I only wish it had a plug to connect to my tv which does not have Bluetooth.
