The sound is great on this Bluetooth speaker and very easy to use. I bought it to use by our pool this summer but have been enjoying the sound inside right now. Bought it because it’s waterproof and so I can have music when we are in the pool.

I bought a lesser speaker to save money. A little steel dust and it was like listening through a mattress. With altec it goes from work to water with no compromise. Yes this will float the pool and keep playing your music.

I bought the speaker to take with me camping and boating. It has a long lasting charge and I love the sound it gives. It was very easy to add the app to my phone and play songs off of my phone and I got it connected to my iPod as well.

I USE THIS IN MY WORK VEHICLE WHICH HAS NO RADIO, IS QUITE LOUD, AND IS NOT A VERY NICE ENVIRONMENT FOR ELECTRONICS. UNIT HAS VERY GOOD SOUND AND SEEMS DURABLE. HAVE HAD A LITTLE TROUBLE SYNCING TO MY PHONE BUT ALWAYS SEEMS TO WORK ON 2ND TRY. OVERALL I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS UNIT

A whole lot of sound for so little a speaker. 4 hour battery life is the minimum, mine plays much longer that 6 hours. I do wish that there was some foam stickers that came with the mounting bracket that would help prevent it from spinning while mounted.

Love it. I use it everyday and have had no issues in the year I’ve owned it. Mostly used as a shower speaker, but I’ve had it all over my apartment and have no complaints. Solid battery life, good sound, no complaints!

I've been very happy with this speaker. The speaker lasts all day on a charge and sounds great. I'm constantly surprised how much sound can come out of that little speaker. One critique is that when I plug in the headphone jack, but it's still connected to bluetooth the bluetooth will take over.

I like this speaker a lot, it has nice sound but I wish it could be louder when I'm outside or on the boat with it. It uses my iPhone volume settings so it only goes as loud as my phone will let it. I've water tested this and it floats and is very much waterproof. Only wish it was louder

Great for outside by the pool, or taking out on the boat at the lake. Very good sound quality.

I compared this product to others with the same features at Best Buy and thought what a handy great sounding compact Bluetooth device. It also is water resistant, so knowing I would be at the beach and pool ths summer was an added bonus.

This is the second Altec speaker we own. They have made some great improvements to the functionality of the speaker. The sound is awesome!!!! You can take these things anywhere and not worry about it getting ruined from sand or water.

I bought a similar Sony speaker but this one works a lot better, sounds better and is durable
