Love this portable speaker! Perfect for home or our outdoor adventures! Rained while we were camping and never had to worry about the speaker! The phone charger on the speaker was utilized and worked great!!

The bass is very balance and clean. My kids love it when they're doing chores.

We bought this for a medium sized garage and I can hear the music while I am in the house! It is awesome for a men's gift or a personal purchase. It is Bluetooth which is great but the output of music is hard to beat!!

This speaker was purchased as a step up from the last bluetooth speaker we bought, and it definitely is just that, a step up. Great sound, heavy-duty, easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

The speaker has great sound quality and can be heard from distance. It's waterproof so I don't have to worry about getting it wet in the rain or by the pool. It's quickly replaced my other speakers.

Great speaker for the special 50% off price. Battery lasts a long time. Took it tubing on the river for two days and took a few dives in the water! Would have given it 5 stars but it had weak bass. It is loud enough but wouldn't mind it being louder.

I have purchased items from this maker before so when I needed a larger speaker this was an obvious choice for me. I do wish it would get a bit louder, but it is perfect for my beach days and bike rides! I bought another one to give as a gift so the volume isn’t something that would stop me from purchasing again!

After reading a lot of different reviews in this boom jacket 2 vs JBL, I decided I this one. Great sounding, extra charging port for iPhone and battery last a long time. I would suggest this one for sure.

I bought two and they sound nice, but one has a static sound, when nothing is being played. Also, they are not easy to pair, at all and do not stay paired. That is the main reason that I upgraded, from the first Boom jackets, to these. I contacted Altec Lansing support and even gave them video evidence, but they still have not replied, with a solution, after weeks. I don't think they care about helping customers. After getting lucky, on pairing the two, they both play, but if you move one, not too far away, they become unpaired. The distance that I moved them apart from each other was well within the working distance. I was told, by support, to let the batteries run down all the way, recharge them and then they should stay paired, when moving them apart. I still have problems, with them. Maybe, after the batteries die, again, they will get even better. I don't know. Though, it will take a while for me to find out, because the batteries seem to last a very long time. Also, at one point, out of nowhere, I heard one speaker start to make a buzzing noise. I had to turn it off and pair it up, again. If you do want the Boom jackets, just get one and you will have 50% of the problem or, hopefully, get lucky and have no problems. They are rugged looking. I don't know how well they do, in the water, though. Fix the pairing issues, the static sound, and the random bussing noise and they get five stars. Giving two stars is beig generous. I could give one, by itself, four or five stars, maybe, but the pairing feature means that if they don't work together, they don't work 100%, correctly. It's almost summer and I want to get out and use them, TOGETHER. Right now, they defeat their own purpose.

I wanted a speaker for outdoor use and this is great! I use it all the time. It has great sound and is easy to use. I take it everywhere because it's very durable. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Easy to pair using Bluetooth. Compact size great for beach bag. Good battery life for extended stay at pool. Don’t know just how water proof these speakers are and don’t plan to test.

I purchased this speaker as a replacement for my JBL that died on me. However, I must say... I'm extremely happy with this one and the ability to charge other items while enjoying my music wherever.

The boom jacket II has a clear sound for my music, streamed radio and podcasts. Always using it so the battery life of 50 hours is plenty. couldn't see paying over twice as much for a similar sound. Can't wait for summer to mount it to my bike.

Use it tp play music from Galaxy Tablet. Very quick and easy to set up. Battery life is excellent. Great sound and volume. set it in a central location and can hear throughout the house with no problem.

Got the Boom Jacket 2 for my wife at the same time that I got myself the Amazon Tap and regret getting that Tap. This holds up to 50 hours of charge and sounds amazing compared to the Tap.

This is a great speaker! Excellent sound, and it is loud. It has a very nice quality feel to it too. No issues pairing with my iphone 7 plus. It is very easy to use. You will not be disappointed.
